While retaining our classic, harmonically complex and finely detailed mid-range, the larger 15" cone of the Fullback shifts this characteristic down a register. Clean sounds are warm and expressive, revealing and enhancing the qualities of your amp and guitar without unnecessary colouration. Overdrive sounds are complex and musical; push harder for a weighty, contralto growl, with a softer, warmer mid-range.

Review: Get weird! Show up with a 15" speaker! - Love this big guy. What we have here is a big, solid-sounding 15-incher. I'm using it in a Quilter 15-inch Blockdock cabinet, which is open-backed. To my ear, it sounds completely inoffensive in every way. I dislike a lot of Celestion speakers, as I find them spikey (Vintage 30) or papery (G12h30, G12-75) sounding. This is not those speakers. It reminds me a little more of my favorite speaker - the Eminence Cannabis Rex, though it's a little more present in the upper mids, without approaching the brain-piercing spikes of the Vintage 30. I'd say this is a speaker that's British, but also quite neutral. It's not over-anundant in the low end, but not lacking, either. If you want high-gain chugging, find a closed-back cab and you're probably good to go. In my open-back, cleans and snarly dirt all sound good.

Love this big guy. What we have here is a big, solid-sounding 15-incher. I'm using it in a Quilter 15-inch Blockdock cabinet, which is open-backed.
