X Large Contemporary Tall Tree Leaves Falling Birds Flying Approx 70" Inches or 6 Feet Wall Sticker Decal

I purchased this item to put on the wall above our bed in our master bedroom. First, the pro's: The colors are great, all rusty, ruddy, and golden browns. The size was perfect - the finished product stood taller than me, which was great, as I was needing to cover up a pretty large blank wall. The assembly was relatively easy - wash wall with water, let wall dry, apply "paint-by-numbers" style (or, do like me, and make up your own tree pattern). Which brings us to the cons - these decals do not stick to the walls. It took about 15 minutes before the first piece became unstuck. After 24 hours, only a few small branches, the leaves, and the birds were left. Everything else was stuck to the bed. Aside from the fact that it's pretty, and looked really nice on the wall for the first 15 minutes, I would not recommend this product at all.

I decided to buy this even after reading all the reviews about how it wouldn't stick to textured walls. which I have. I ended up buying two because someone mentioned it didn't have enough leaves, but I found there were more than enough to satisfy me. It was just like many of the reviews stated; the stickers started coming off shortly after applying. However, I pulled out an elmer's glue stick, rubbed it over each sticker, applied to the wall and it stayed beautifully. Actually, the leaves had no problem being used without the glue. I only used the glue for the tree trunk, branches, birds, bird cage and letters. I had a couple of stubborn leaves I had to glue, but the majority stuck on their own.The tree was actually bigger than I anticipated, which was a nice surprise. Yes, you have a lot of stickers to apply, and it took a couple of hours, but IMHO, it was well worth the work. After applying the first one, the second one I applied was a breeze. I put a tree on either side of a table at the front door entryway, and it looks stunning. It's been over two weeks now, and the stickers are still holding up. I even tried taking some down to see if it would harm my walls, and I was surprised at how easily they removed with no damage.The product arrived in a box rolled up with no damage. The instructions are fairly easy to follow. Basically, every piece is numbered, and you just follow the numbers compared to the picture. The first tree I applied, I followed the directions exactly, but the second one I made my own. which was fun and fast..The first person who saw it asked if it was painted. For very little money, this is a great way to spruce up your home. Even though they're more trouble applying than RoomMate stickers, I think these look better, The RoomMates show a lot more of the clear sticker part than these do. I plan on buying many more.

I ordered these to use in a 5th wheel camper to make a "headboard" . I read the reviews and was prepared for them to not stick well. However, I found that they had a decent "sticky" to them. I used a small foam brush and rust-oleum wall border adhesive. I painted it on the backs and applied them. Once done I used a large brush to apply a "clear coat" of the adhesive. It dries clear and also helps seal everything. I have done this before with other decals I used in the kitchen. ( this is a time consuming way but helps it last).The surface they were applied to is also what they call "ice crystal" texture and there were no problems. Doing them this way is only if you want them up a long time, otherwise will be very difficult to remove.I also did not use the diagram and used them to free form two smaller branches. I think there are a lot of options here. I also did not use the bird cage, I only want the leaves and branches and two birds. BTW the item I received appears to be a dark brown rather than black ( fine by me it looks better) and it come folded once. It did not affect them for me as I used adhesive to apply.

Upon first considering buying this wall decal, I was very worried and almost changed my mind when I read all the reviews about it coming off the wall and the pieces being damaged by folding upon arrival. After a week of it being on my wall and not budging, I do not regret my purchase at all. I think it depends what type of paint you have. If it is the type that looks glossy and too shiny, I can understand things not easily sticking to it. What ever the reason might be that is is not sticking, from the first moment I put it on my wall it stayed there well. I also read about the decal having white outlines which is not true! This decal doesn't have any outlines and the peaces that have space in between have clear tape on them so it would go on any color wall. Basically, check and make sure you have the kind of wall and wall paint that can handle sticky things, and if you really like this decal I recommend buying it as it is gorgeous. I will not give it 5 stars however as the tree is not at all as bushy as in the picture...

Although it looks great in the picture.. When it arrives it's in tiny sections down to every separated leaf and branch. You have to put it all together yourself (May you have better luck than I did). Once you have pulled all of your hair out trying to make your pile of stickers look anything like a tree, you then have the headache of walking over throughout the day to stick the peeling pieces back on. (Because they soon begin to fall off). Once you're good and tired of picking up fallen stickers and holding up a decaying decal, you will finally give up as I did and throw the non-stick sucker away. The second star was because for the whole 2 weeks it was up, I rather thought it was cute. Bless you if your walls receive this thing better than mine. And woe be unto you if your wall rejects it as badly as mine did.
