Review: This stuff works great. My go to pesticide! - I had white flies/aphids on my crape myrtle’s to the extent that they were killing the tree. I tried aphid killer from the local DIY store, applied it twice and had even more white flies. The tops of the leaves were black and the entire crape myrtle was covered. I tried another pesticide and still could not kill them. I bought this bottle of Malathion and one application they were gone. The trees looked dead and no more leaves grew back the rest of the summer. I figured I killed the trees with pesticide. This spring most of the branches were dead. I trimmed the crepe myrtle’s way back to green wood. Now 3 months later and they are gorgeous and growing like crazy.

**Q: Doe this oroduct work for bedbugs?**
A: Yes it does, however it's illegal to use indoors. There's scientific evidence that malathion poses virtually no risk to people when used properly. However, due to current laws in the US nobody is going to tell you to use it indoors.

**Q: What percent malathion?**
A: 50% Malathion and 50% other ingredients

**Q: anyone know what the mixture is per gallon?**
A: it really depends upon the target insect and the plants.  We use it for Mosquito control and use 10 tsp per gallon around would shrubs and grasses.  If we were using in on our roses or other ornamentals we would dilute it to 2 tsp per gallon.   It is a powerful insect killer but it can be very damaging to the plants and the environment if over used.

**Q: Does this leave a residue that keeps on killing insects?**
A: Malathion IS residual, and will last from 2 to 10 days, depending on weather conditions. It's extremely lethal to honeybees, so take care not to use it where honeybees may feed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Malathion works - plan ahead

Have intense mosquito problem in summer months. Also have a pollinator garden. Malathion kills everything so the trick is to spray selectively and combine spraying with wearing OFF or a similar product when outdoors. Malathion also breaks down rapidly so one needs to spray every couple of weeks. It stinks but only for a few hours, The stink is good because it allows one to avoid being downwind and to know if the pressurized sprayer is leaking, A small bottle of malathion and a gallon spray container can really make a dent in the mosquito problem (or other insect problem) but one has to think of the consequences of spraying indiscriminately vs what one wants to achieve before one sprays. .
