We are in the process of installing concrete countertops in our home and this sander has been a lifesaver. It not only cuts the dust down to a minimum, it is such a great value for the money. The sanding pads that attach easily are a godsend as well. I have small hands and it makes it so simple to work on different types of projects. I only have great things to say about this product!!!!!

I bought this item to rough sand my stairs for refinishing. My intention was to utilize the tip of the unit to get into the corners. I have a DeWalt Orbital sander with a round plate which does great on the main surfaces, but can not get into the corners at all. The sander seems well built and I think it will serve its purpose. For the price, I almost consider it disposable. It came with 10 sanding sheets, but I expect to go through them very quickly. It feels good in the palm of my hand and you don't have to use a lot of pressure to get it to work. I like the ability to rotate the base plate to get different angles. I don't expect to use it for heavy duty sanding, but it seems to serve the purpose. As usual, the dust bag is completely worthless. I'd estimate it catches about 10% of the dust created on use, and fills up extremely fast. Overall: Good value.

It lasted nine months and that was it. Worked great while it worked but I feel it should’ve lasted longer.

Cheap. I bought this last year. Went to get it out and it was broken in two different spots. Not worth the money. Keep looking. This has a plastic dust filter...cheap cheap cheap.

I just resurfaced my kitchen cabinets. This sander came in real handy for the corners and groves that I couldn't reach with my round orbital sander. It comes with several pieces of sand paper in a variety of different grits. It has a hard plastic cartridge instead of a bag to collect all the saw dust. This really contains the saw dust when it is collected. Prolonged use might make your hands and wrist sore so make sure to take plenty of breaks.

With this little guy I am able to get into tight spaces and it makes sanding a breeze. The sander also comes with extra sand paper which means I could use it as soon as it arrived. I rated the sander 4 stars because the dust collector on the back had broken clip in tabs. For my purpose it still functioned well even without the dust collector.

This product is easy to hold unlike my 4” square sander. The sanding sheets are so easy to attach. However the sanding pads that came with the product are not very good. I tried to use them to sand my deck railings before painting and they were not coarse enough. I also tried to use them to sand furniture between coats of chalk paint and the pads didn’t last long before getting gunked up and needing to be replaced. The pads are not easy to locate in varying degrees of coarseness. It’s better than hand sanding with sponge blocks but not by much. Report card grade - C, or a 7 out of 10 on a scale of 1-10. Maybe even a 6. Not that great.

I used the sander for detailing my wood projects and so far it has been a great little sander. The power button is a little finicky but other than that it works just fine. I am happy with my purchase but wish it was a variable speed sander. Other than the color, I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend this detail sander to another buyer. The mustard yellow is definitely an interesting color choice! :)
