Sturdy and well made wand
I bought this wand to replace the broken wand from my Bissell Zing vacuum. The original wand's adjustment mechanism had broken and fell off, making the wand unusable. I was impressed with the quality of this wand. It is solid and the adjustment mechanism is sturdy and looks like it will last a long time. This wand extends with an easy to use button. In addition to fitting my Bissell Zing vacuum perfectly, this nicely chromed wand fit my Hoover Wind tunnel vacuum hose just as securely and could be used to replace the plastic wand that came with the Wind Tunnel, as it deteriorates over time. You will not be disappointed with this high quality replacement wand.

These are great!
I had a plastic hose on my other vac, and bought some assories to upgrade a bit. These can retract really easy to adjust the size. They should actually make these standard on all vacs. Handy for sure!

Button lock makes no sense and doesn't work. Pole too short.
I couldn't get any sort of lock from the so-called connection-lock on this wand. At first I thought perhaps the plastic piece inserted inside the wand was for packaging, so I pulled it out and then was able to get the button on my hose end to lock into the pole. But the pole was too wide in diameter using this method, and flopped around. So then I put the plastic piece back inside the pole. But the plastic blocks the hole for the button, so the button cannot engage the hole. I don't know if I'm missing something and it's user-error, but it just didn't work for me. But all of that aside, when fully extended, this wand is too short, at least for me (I'm 5'9"). Maybe if you are really short, this could be a good wand for you, but not for me. I ordered Cen-tec's 34553 extension wand instead and it's great and the button-lock works.
