Brilliant paper at a sensible price.
A very good quality of paper that has been used to print out around 120 A4 sized photos of some of my life in the RAF Marine Branch, which, along with the Final Draaft copy of those incidents that working at a bench in some factory couldn't see anywhere near the number of different events and challenges that were faced during both out at sea, as well as on land. As a military museum on the Isle of Wight has a large number of the military weapons, ranging from WWI and upto the conflict in Afghanistan, along with militaria, plus what will be a large number of military reference books along with similar types of DVD's, the directors asked if they could have my story of some anecdotal events, plus photos. So this required not only the photos on a Disc, but printed copies, plus what turned out tobe something my old English Master at school would have given him an Heart Attack, with almost 1,000,000 words, including index, chapter lists etc, seeing as to him still waiting for a 200 word essay on some boring subject like Shakespeare's fictional works. These photographs, using an Epson printer, with non-Epson Inks, and the photo quality paper, will soon be down at the museum, and all in laminated plastic so that the items will last for years of handling.

Photo inject paper comarison
Having been home printing Christmas cards of my wife's paintings I have gone through quite a lot of different papers. The papers all give a gramme Sq M (GSM) weight. This one at 280gsm is at the very high end. As another reviewer noted it doesn't feel so thick. So I have weighed the various papers that I currently have to give some comparison. I have just weighed a sheet on digital kitchen scales so no great technology but the results are interesting:PPA - 280gsm = 16g per sheet; Canon Photo paper plus gloss II(5*) - 260gsm = 16g per sheet; Epson Premium photo glossy paper(6*) - 255gsm = 17g per sheet; Tesco Glossy inkjet photo paper - 190gsm= 11.5g per sheet; Black diamond canvas inkjet paper - 220gsm= 15g per sheet and Hobby Craft premium smooth card - 300gsm= 19g per sheet. So this paper does compare ok with the others in terms of weight. It's glossy finish is comparable with the other branded papers. Only time would tell though in terms of colour retention. The price comparison with the big names would indicate that this is good value for most everyday jobs.

Just the right weight
I was having lots of problems with 240gsm photo paper - constant jamming and misfeeding. This 180gsm is equal in quality but gives no printing problems at all.

Good value and quality.
We use this paper for printing our product labelling on. The weight is perfect for folding around the boxes and the gloss finish shows the images in a quality/sharp way that our customers like. We print at 4800dpi.
