It is great for on the go
With this new product from south bend, it was the perfect move for me and the accuracy was spot on. I weighed my first fish at 2lbs 15oz I will never go back to a berkley fish weigh scale ever again, For the price of this product I'd recommend this by 97%!!!

Accurate and inexpensive
I checked the accuracy with a high quality postal scale. It's right on. The only thing I don't like and others have mentioned. When something is weighed the scale goes into hold mode almost immediately and adding additional weight does not change the reading. Does not effect my usage. Also tells you the temperature so does double duty!Comes with batteries and the price is good.

Nice small scale
Does what it is intended to due. The only beef I have is I feel that the hook is on the small side. If I’m weighing a fish I have to use a grip tool. Otherwise if the fish wiggles he is gone.

Before Airport
Nice way to weigh your luggage before bringing it to the airport. If your suitcase is heavy, make sure someone is strong enough to lift it since it’s straining on the wrist (if you’re too weak)

Handy little scale
Great compact scale for in the boat. Seems quite accurate and the backlight makes it easy to read at anytime of day. The hook is quite small which makes it sometimes difficult to hook a fish into it
