Surprisingly Good Results
First, 5 stars does not mean perfect. No, the repairs are not invisible. But they are very good and not very noticeable unless you are looking for them. Kind of like that small scratch on your car that no one else notices. I bought this kit about a year ago and, frankly, was a bit afraid to use it. DIY repair products often over-promise results and understate the difficulty of use. So, given that I bought this to repair a tear in the red leather rear seat of my car, which was covered by a dog seat cover anyway, I was able to just ignore the tear. However, when I created a small tear and wear marks in the black leather dash of my SUV when I removed a cell phone mount, I decided something had to be done. So, following the directions, I mixed the black and cream colors to arrive at the shade of black of my dash. I applied the mix using the provided spatula and then, to give it the more pebbled look of the leather, I lightly pressed the repaired area with the backing material provided in the kit. To my surprise, the process was quick and easy, taking maybe 15 minutes. And the dash looks great. Being emboldened by this success, I decided to repair the much larger damaged red leather seat in my car. I understood that (1) red is a very difficult color to match and (2) a larger damaged area would still be more noticeable after repair. Many moons ago, not seeing the exact shade of red on the provided chart, I emailed the manufacturer who, upon reviewing my photo and looking up the car's actual trim color, advised me to use red as the primary color and add in burgundy until the color matched (or was slightly lighter as it dries darker). Per those instructions I only added a small amount of the secondary color until it looked like a match. Again I used the provided spatula and spread the mixture over the damaged area. And I again used the backing cloth the smooth out and add texture to the repair. Yes, the repair is noticeable. But it doesn't stand out unless you know where to look. As this repair is on the seat cushion it remains to see how durable it will be. I am a novice at these sort of repairs and similar DIY projects I have attempted in the past have not always turned out great. But, in both cases here, the results were very good. The process was easy. And clean-up was simple. And I saved a ton of money over what professional repair shops wanted. In the picture, in the repaired area, the leather was torn and the backing was exposed. There were also black marks from Velcro. No more tear and the color is a very close match. And this was the first time I used this kit.

Amazing results and the support team is second to none.
I was able to restore a set of 30 year old leather couches that were originally a very light pink cream color. Over the years that original color has faded to more of a cream with a slight hint of pink. With the directions and help of support I was able to match the color exactly. This kit is amazing and has saved me from needing to purchase new furniture. Thank you very much Coconix team for your support and such a great product.

Not pretty, but it works
Easy to use. Finished repair was a dull, dry appearance, but it did the job.

Not easy to use
Need better way to apply this. Nice color options and does come with mixing color information. Would be nice if you had some kind of texture overlay. No way to properly coat area with matching texture.

Works well & nearly invisible if you color match!
First, fill the defect with the cloth before you mix your color, so it won't dry and be harder to work with. If it's very shallow, the color should be enough to fill it alone. Starting with the lightest color, add darker colors sparingly then apply a tiny dot with a toothpick to the edge of the tear to verify. It only takes a very small amount of a dark color to change a lighter one, so go slowly. Like a painter's palette, keep them separate and add just a little each time to the mix. I also blended them on an old tray covered in waxed paper and stored the remainder in the container provided. For my taupe/gray leather, I mixed a very small amount of walnut with a dot of black, then added a little of that to a larger amount of cream, repeating until I got the desired color. Keep a damp towel handy to wipe up any mistakes and use the cloth to texture, if needed. Great product and I highly recommend it!

5/5 – Worked Better Than I Expected
I bought the COCONIX Leather & Vinyl Repair Kit to fix scratches and worn areas on a leather/vinyl surface, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The color-matching was the best part—being able to mix shades made it easy to get very close to the original color. Once I applied thin layers and let it dry between coats, the repaired area blended in really nicely. The kit was straightforward to use, even as a beginner, and the instructions were clear. After the repair cured, the surface looked smooth and much more uniform, and the damaged spot was barely noticeable unless you were looking for it. If you have scratches, scuffs, small cracks, or peeling areas and you’re willing to take your time with thin coats, this kit is absolutely worth it. Great value and a real money-saver compared to replacing the item.

Amazing product with an even more impressive support team behind it
This product works as advertised. It has great documentation to help you get started and an even more amazing customer support. They were able to guide me on my repair journey and followed up to make sure I was happy with the results. It was very easy and just a little bit of patience to get the color just right, then just apply the product and let it dry, it might take a lot of reapplications to fill everything and make it look seamless, but it is worth it. The container helps keeping the color mixture fresh between applications so you don't have to remix color. It comes with a wide variety of colors to match your color, I sent support a photo of my leather and replied with the primary and secondary color and they were right on spot. Product is easy to clean, just a little bit of rubbing alcohol and it goes away, so don't be afraid to use it. It has almost no chemical smell and after 4 layers I can say the durability check passes when the kids ran over it and played with the fix remaining in place. Amazing product and I promise you support will grab your hand through the whole process until you are completely satisfied.

Easy to use for shoes, looks good
This so far has worked great. And it was super easy to use. I left my shoes in the garage and the humidity got to them. They are dansko shoes. The price was high when I bought them and I don't wear them too often so I wanted to repair them vs just getting a new pair. The main part of the shoe is real leatherbut the trim was either vinyl or pleather. All I did was squirt some of the compound onto the fuzzy part where it didn't look right anymore. Spread it with the little baby brush, and waited for it to dry. It turned out nicely. I'll probably do two coats vs one to make it look smoother. But no one is paying that much attention to my feet. This was a great way to spend minimal money and keep my shoes for another 10 years. Good product overall, and easy to use. It also went a lot further then expected.
