This item works for me even on low volume. Plenty of white noise and fan modes (10 of each) to find one that suits you. If you have a problem sleeping due to external noises, neighbours, traffic, wind, etc. and can't take to ear plugs it is worth a try. Note the unit comes with the USA connector on the charging lead, it has to be removed by simply untwisting it before you can fit the UK adaptor, this isn't explained with the instructions.

Small but powerful white box
A small white box that makes a lot of noise, I have a database company called CSC (Computer Science Corporation) that isn't far from me, which makes a lot of noise with their generators and fans in the summer months, this helps block out the beat of the noise

Compact & easy to use
Compact & easy to use. Came with 3 interchangeable plug heads for UK, US & EU. As someone who struggles with insomnia and noisy neighbours, the past 2 nights since this item arrived, I've been asleep within 10 minutes & slept right through til my alarm went off!

Fantastic!
Fantastic. Works a treat to aid my sleep with a snoring husband. Creates white noise which helps to mask the sound of his snoring. No longer have to go in the spare room.

Great little gadget
I bought one some time ago to cope with unwanted noise from my neighbours. It was so effective that I decided to get another one, so I have one on both floors of the house. Four stars rather than five, because it didn't come with the UK plug as stated.

if you have a dog that is terrified of fireworks and an area you can den for your dog this is really worth a go.
I have a dog that has dementia and if terrified of fireworks - to the point she has to be hosed down with cold water to stop her overheating. We have been using it for a couple of weeks to try and get through this horrible time of the year for pet owners and I have to say it has worked a treat. We have had random loud fireworks going off for the last two weeks and she is tucked up in a nice cosy bed in the cupboard under the stairs with this machine and she is sleeping very peacefully. I don't know how much it will dull the 5th as it is like being in a war zone around here but so far it is really helping.
