UPDATED REVIEW (November 2016): After owning this watch for a little over a year, it started losing time. I assumed the battery was dying. When it stopped working altogether, I took it to a jeweler for a new battery. They said it was not the battery and they could not get it working. They suspect it needs a new movement and quoted me around $100 for that. I didn't even pay $100 for the watch! Fortunately, my watch is still covered by Stuhrling's 2-year warranty so I sent it back to them. With the $20 I was required to pay them for the return shipping, plus the $10 insured shipping to send it, it cost me $30 to do this, which is a little frustrating since that's more than 30% of what I paid for the watch a little more than a year ago. I hope this isn't indicative of the overall quality of Stuhrling watches, since my husband and son also each own one.In my original review, I had mentioned the band is very shiny. It is prone to scratching easily, even though this isn't my primary watch I wear. The Citizen watch I've had for five years and wear 90% of the time is in much better condition than my Stuhrling band.ORIGINAL REVIEW (August 2015): I bought this without seeing it in person and I may not have purchased it if I had. I love the face of it, but the band looks and feels cheap. The band is a pretty thin weight and the gold part is very shiny, which makes it look cheap. There were some reviews about it being difficult to size for a small wrist. I have a very small wrist and was able to size it down with one link left on each side.

Such an amazing value - gorgeous watch. Size of the face is not too big, not too small. The band is a little lighter weight than I expected but that is OK - still good quality. It goes with everything and I find myself glancing at it more often than when I wear my other watches because it's just so pretty! Highly recommended.

My husband accidentally hit 1-click and did not know that he had ordered this at Christmas. When it arrived, I fell in love with it and would not let him send it back! It is absolutely georgeous! I took it to a jeweler to have some links removed from the band and his first reaction was " Wow, this is a beautiful Swiss watch!". He is right.

It's visually sturdy and well made ... and just as important, visually hard to stop staring at! Just Beautiful!

Beautiful watch! Absolutely love it! Perfect to wear with both gold and/or silver jewelry. Great quality and great price. Also, Sturhling customer service is fantastic! They followed up with me immediately after my purchase to make sure I liked the product and to remind me to register for the warranty. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect everyday watch!

The look is very nice but durability is very poor. The links on the band are not only hollow but they are not even welded. They use a soft metal to build the links as a result the link walls bent when trying to remove links. Very disappointed at the quality. They should at least put some weld points to avoid the links loosing their shape so easily. My wife didn't get one day of use out of it.

Really love my watch , it's really beautifully made , but the strap was that big i had to take 4 links out instead of three , & it's quite light too & it's still slightly loose lol ,

Als die Uhr ankam, war ich sehr positiv überrascht, sie sieht im Original noch schöner aus als auf der Abbildung im Internet - sehr hochwertig und sehr edel. Die Kristalle auf dem Ziffernblatt funkeln um die Wette. Nur das Band war mir viel zu weit, habe es beim Juwelier für 5 Euro kürzen lassen. Alles in allem also zu diesem reduzierten Preis ein "sehr empfehlenswert" von mir.

Diese uhr kam pünktlich und ordentlich verpackt bei mir an. Sieht super aus. Leider ist die Batterie am ende so dass mir gleich ein paar zusatzkosten entstehen. Leider hat sich der Verkäufer nicht bei mir gemeldet, als ich um eine ersatzbatterie bat. Dafür gibt es Punkte abzug. Schade

It's gorgeous, unique and fits lovely. However, I have only worn it for 3 weeks now and the metal coating on one side is already rubbing off. I work at a computer and I understand that there will be friction but it has rubbed off SUPER fast considering that I have only worked 7 days due to the winter break. Ridiculous considering the price you're paying for it, I expected something longer wearing.
