Looks Great...
This bully Hitch Step took less time to install than brushing your teeth! It arrived quickly and intact. I'm guessing it weighs about 5lbs. I ordered the, CURT 23518 Black Trailer Hitch Lock 5/8-Inch Pin Diameter Fits 2-Inch Receiver, which fit nicely in the pre-drilled holes; though, there is play and it may rattle. Someone mentioned adding #11 "O" rings to remedy. It was installed on a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a factory hitch receiver. There is also play between the hitch and the receiver, so I took the plastic wedge with sticky tape that was included and stuck it underneath between the bar and hitch. As for the rubber end caps, they are discolored with white residue. I'm not sure how long it will be before they fall off. I also can't comment on the noise, it's strength or rust factor just yet, but for the price it looks good. I don't think that I'll hear it rattle anyway considering I'm not driving a jag and may not even hear it.

Good looking AND Functional
This is my "2nd" Hitch/Step. I was recently rear-ended in a fender bender in my 4x4 Toyota Tacoma (which hada hitch/step)and a Nissan Maxima. The Maxima was totaled. The car pressed through the radiator spewing radiatorfluid. My truck easily drove away like a bug ran into the back of it. The hitch step was destroyed but Iwould rather "it" than my truck. I got a new bumper out of the deal as it was starting to rust anywayand his insurance was paying. In addition to my story, the hitch/step is a functional step and the lightsadd a nice flare to the look of the truck in addition to the safety feature of it lighting when steppingon the brake. I got it for like $43 + tax and shipping. Can't beat that deal. It was cheaper even thanon E-Bay. I would have paid a little more with Amazon as they have a great return policy. Nice job Amazon!

Nice item, strong, easily installed.
Item is exactly as described and was easy to install. The only negative thing I can think of after having the Step installed for a couple of months now is that the metal square tube that inserts into the received is starting to rust. I didn't expect this since it seems to be either power coated or painted.I can imagine it will get worse over time - my truck is in great condition and it frustrates me every time I see the rust on the Step. Will have to remove it from the truck, sand it down, and hit it with some black rustoleum I suppose.Update: 2/2/2013. Still holding up well on my Jeep. Wiring and chrome is all in tact, but rubber and plastic is starting to fade due to UV (the Jeep sits at a train station all day). I use Back to Black to bring back the black, and all is well again. Also, the plastic lens over the LED lights seems to oxidize frequently. I use Scratch X 2 on a rag and buff it out, good as new. I love this item.Update: 1/9/2014. Still on my truck. The plastic end caps on the hitch (that cover the metal tubes) has cracked in many places and fallen off. Assume this is due to UV exposure. The clear lens covering the LED light is starting to haze up from the inside now, and I'm not able to remove it with Scratch-X. Wiring is still in like-new condition, and it every LED still lights up as they should. Still highly visible at night. Haven't been hit from behind, so don't really know how this will stand up to a bumper bump, but probably going to take this off soon and replace with a folding hitch step.

It arrived in good shape and with not defects
It arrived in good shape and with not defects. Would give 5 stars except for the fact that the anti-rattle wedge was too thick to work with my 2" receiver. Less than 1/8" would slide into the receiver. I alternatively use 2" dark gray duct tape just inside where it fit into the receiver on the first hole. I also put two layers on the end, then cut the holes out with a small pocket knife. It is mounted perfectly straight (horizontal to the vehicle) with no rattles and looks great. My wife even likes it. She can step up when washing our 2015 Ford Escape and it protects the bumper (with sensors). It does not affect the functioning of the back-up or side approach sensors. Others have mentioned that the end caps can come off, so I was going to glue them on, but found that, even though they are loose around the edges, they are attached in the middle to some sort of a bracket, so I left them alone. For extra protection, I waxed it, including the rubber step, with Turtle Wax Ice, which doesn't turn white on black plastic or rubber. This should help protect against the step turning white over time as some have mentioned. It cost less than the plastic alternative brand, it sturdier (no flex when standing on it) and no sharp corners to bump your shin or knee on. And it looks great!

Bully Hitch Step
I received the product and placed it on a 2020 F150. Overall I will say it is a great product and fair price. Several issues. Manufacture for the hitch is a little loose for the receiver. I understand that it can't be exact to a millimeter but there is some play init as well. OK NOT THE MANUFACTURE ISSUE OR SELLER. This is the third product in about a month fulfilled by AMAZON that is clearly been used. The box it came had been opened two tabs to keep it closed were missing. Seal was not intact. Before inserting it into the receiver if you look on the slide piece going to the receiver it was missing some paint underneath as it was scraped going in or out several times from the receiver. It had some non matching black paint brushed onto hide some wear marks as well. Again not the seller or manufactures issue but it makes a bad experience and leaves you wondering if a return item is being resent out as new.
