works
killed mice. Smells a little strong. It worked quickly. Quality and value is fair. It's in a plastic bag. I had it in my garage and I guess mice got in there and ate the bag. We found them dead later. Its not the safest way because you have to touch it with your hands to put it in the trap.

It works
This stuff works, I mean it works great. No more mice. We have dogs and a cat, we just keep it out of their reach

The trap is a waste but the poison is a win 🙌🏼
The trap itself never worked but the poison did. The mouse went straight for the bag of poison and ripped a whole into it. Ate it for two days and then disappeared never to be seen again after. I guess is you just want the poison from this product it works well its easy. Just let the rat tear into the bag. The smell was okay kinda sweet in a strange way but it goes away quickly. No stickiness.

Mouse Bait Works Good for Killing Mice, But Be Aware of the Hazards
Tomcat bait is an effective product for what it is designed to do, kill mice. Mice are attracted to the bait which contains poison that kills them. A little goes a long way. Unfortunately, there are 2 unintended consequences that must be considered when using:1. Dead mice in the home must be found and removed due to the odor that follows. Often the odor is the clue to their presence, that may be hidden, and not always accessible when odor is found.2. Mice don't die instantly and may go to places that are accessible to your pets before they die. Cats & dogs will find them, and eat them. The dead mouse has enough residual poison to make your pet very sick, or worse. If you use this product, keep charcoal tablets on hand. If you think your pet has ingested a dead mouse that was poisoned, give them several charcoal tablets (weight dependent). If this is the problem, results are quick, 15-30 minutes and remarkable.Checking your house envelope carefully for places that mice and bugs can enter must always be job one. Mice and bugs instinctively follow the trail of warm air leaks coming from inside the home which leads them to a hidden entrance. An infrared camera can help find smaller air leaks in the home envelope, and works best when temperature difference inside and out are at extremes. All leaks should be caulked or foamed, even if the size of a pencil or smaller. Every inch of the house perimeter needs to be inspected and repaired carefully. Yes, it is possible to have a completely sealed home where mice and bugs can't get in, but not always an easy task for existing homes. Vigilance is the key.

Bait doesn't have a stake-hole
Same bait as ever, no doubt as effective as ever, but doesn't have the stake hole through the length of the bait that the rat-sized stations use (used?) to retain the bait. I bought this Tomcat bait and station set because it was the least expensive choice to get bait which would be used in our rat-sized dispensers. All the Tomcat bait I've ever used has a hole through the length of the bait which the rat station has metal stakes that pass through those holes, to retain the bait. Not these. I don't know if this is a change Tomcat has made to all its baits, and the rat dispensers I have are now obsolete and incompatible, or if the solid cross-section is only for a mouse-sized version of the bait. In all other respects, the bait is the same size, etc. To be fair to Tomcat, the artwork on this mouse station-and-bait box shows solid baits, so if I had known to look carefully at what I was buying this time, I would have known better. I can still load one mouse bait (instead of two) in the rat stations. But anyone else intending this for the larger bait station should be aware.
