Well worth the money
Everything you need is in the kitchen. Made a huge difference when pulling a 6000# trailer. Did not adversely affect the ride when not pulling the trailer.

Worked very well to keep my 1500 level with 900 pounds in the tongue
Kept my trailer level at 45psi. At 5 psi truck rides as it does without helpers.

The Real Deal
Edit 03/25Well, I tried to use them today and the drivers side bag is flat. Used them a grand total of 3 times in 1.5 years. Now the bag needs to be replaced. Won't hold air. I religiously kept them at 5 psi when unloaded. Guess I'll look for a quality overload system that lasts.Edit 07/25Company stepped up and shipped a pair of new bags. They honored the lifetime warranty with very little documentation. I emailed the invoice to prove ownership and a few pictures of the failure. No arguments, no hassles, shipped them free to my door. Have to add a star for their customer service. I replaced the damaged bag and left the original bag on the other side. I have a spare now thanks to their replacement policy. I used the truck again on the family vacation similar to the one in the original review. All went well. No loss of air and a level ride.I waited to edit the review until I could give the new bag a test. The replacement of the damaged bag went quickly. About 30 minutes , having done them before. I just cut the damaged bag out of the spring with an oscillating tool .I like the performance of the bags so much, the inconvenience of replacing one every 2 years doesn't seem so bad.Purchased these for my 2023 Ram 1500 night edition that rides a lot lower than my old 2016 1500 due to the low profile tires ( yuk!) on the new one. Couldn't fathom this sagging any lower with the truck loaded down for family vacation and towing a boat. This seemed like the most cost effective add on for my needs. This air assist was recommended by my friend who has one on his Ram for towing a travel trailer.Took the advice of others who had installed this setup. I didn't take the wheels or liners off , and jacked the rear of the truck up by using the hitch receiver as a lift point. There was plenty of room to maneuver the folded air bags ( I used the hot dog bun fold and zip tie method) between the spring coils. I did install the brass nipples on the bags with thread sealer to avoid air leaks. Attached the air tubing ( a little dish soap in the tubing helps) and routed it through the frame to the rear. I used wiring harness shield around the tubing where it entered and exited the frame to avoid chafing. I didn't cut the excess tubing, just coiled it and secured it to the truck body in case I needed to move the location of the fill valve later. Installed the fill valve in the license plate housing. Drilled a hole for the Schrader valve and secured it with the hardware. Did the air test on the fittings with soapy water, no leaks. Took about an hour. Can't explain how this does what it does without affecting ride quality or handling, but it does.I filled the bags with 35 pounds of air ( you should air the bags up before loading the truck ) and started the mayhem of packing for vacation. 4 people's gear, fishing tackle, 100 qt. Cooler filled with frozen food and boxes of food and cases of soda. I filled the bed of the truck and she didn't even squat down. I was able to decrease the bags to 25 psi and it leveled the truck with the boat attached and 4 adults on board. Rode and handled like a dream for 400 miles. Dropped the boat and trailer and unloaded the truck. It raised the rear of the truck a little when the load was off , but not enough to be a nuisance . I left the 25 psi in there for the week and used the truck as a daily driver for errands. Repacked the truck to go home and she leveled out again. After a week and two 400 mile trips, the air bags only lost 0.6 psi for the ordeal. Pretty amazing considering the miles traveled and temperature changes. I aired them down to 5 psi after unloading and don't notice a harsh ride or rake in the truck compared to pre install. These should seriously be standard equipment on these Ram trucks.

Game Changer
We have a 35' travel trailer that we tow with a RAM 1500 v6. Tows fine but was dealing with a bit of squat. I researched these and found they had great reviews and figured for the price would give it a shot. Install was super easy ( follow the youtube videos for doing the hotdog bun method) and more time was taken getting setup with the jacks than anything else. I did the jacking by the hitch method and put jacks under the frame for safety. Took the wheels off and went at it. As mentioned i followed the hotdog bun method by taking the filler cap off and folding and ziptie together, then replaced the cap so it would hold shape. FYI, before starting, do as I did and let the bags and air line sit in the sun to soften up to make it easier to work with. They slipped right in, then I removed the air cap and cut the zip ties to allow to expand. I made sure in position and put the valve stem on - as mentioned in the directions DO NOT use any tools to tighten and just do finger tight. I ran the lines through the frame rail and also bought the aftermarket T made of metal versus the plastic one - cheap insurance. I drilled a whole near the license plate for the air filler. Total time was maybe 90min as I also took time to rotate my tires. Follow the directions to inflate to 5-7lbs and do an air leak check at all connections. First trip out was this past week and inflated to 45lbs it only squated 1.5in compared to closer to 5 without! Also, these aren't a lift system meaning when you inflate the bags your rear isn't going to lift up. It's more of a bump stop limiter. very impressed and since I lease the truck, i can remove them as needed - little more work as you have to follow the factory directions in removing the springs, but still not a huge deal.

Exactly what was needed!
I jacked the rear of the truck up and didn’t even have to take the wheels or shocks off.I rolled the bags like tacos and zip tied them.Once I shoved the bags into the spring area I cut the zip ties.I finished in about an hour and tested it after. Before install my truck sagged about 4 inches with the camper. After bags installed and 40PSI, no sag at all.Highly recommend!
