This is a great product, when we started using it, son was having 2 accidents a night. By night 7 he was having 1 accident and waking up once to use the toilet. By night 11 no more accidents - he is now waking up twice in the night to use the toilet. This has been the case for the past 4 nights.Prior to using it my son (6.5 yrs) was in pull-ups at night and had never had a dry night. It had got to the point where the pull-up was so full by morning that it was leaking. Previous attempts (without a bed alarm) had led us to the conclusion that he wasn't making enough of the hormone that surpresses the need to wee in the night, and also that he is a deep sleeper and therefore wasn't waking when he did need the toilet. This mat can't address the former problem, but has clearly had a huge impact on the second. He is very proud of himself which is lovely to see.We chose this mat in favour of the cheaper versions that clip on to underwear as we didn't like the thought of a wire being round his body or him having to detach it to get to the toilet. We liked the idea of a mat where he can simply get up and go straight to the toilet without worrying about wires or alarms. I would say it was definitely worth the money - I certainly wasn't expecting such a good result so quickly.It is worth considering that the mat is not big (see photo which shows it under the sheet) - our son sleeps in roughly the same position each night so it was fine for us to get it in a good position. The alarm volume and sound was effective in waking him up and we could hear it in our bedroom next door and we could also hear the buzzing noise from the sitting room below. It did not however disturb his little sister - her room is the other side of his, so that was great. I don't think the volume can be adjusted but I can't find the instructions to check so if that is important to you, best to check that with the seller. It can be adjusted to select both alarm and vibrate or alarm only or vibrate only. We had both on.We had no issues with false alarms, even when we did not have the special cover that comes with it, on the mat. The mat does make a 'wibble wobble' noise when you lay on it and move, and it is a hard-ish material although flexible - but my son had no issues or complaints about laying on it.I would definitely recommend it to those who are looking for a way to teach their child to recognise the need to go to the toilet in the night. I think the best thing is that because it wakes them up before the whole wee has gone in the bed, it gives them the opportunity to get to the toilet and get some wee in the toilet. This means that rather than being disturbed in the night being a negative, they (and you) feel some success and value in waking up, and getting to the toilet creates something that we could praise and talk about the next day i.e. 'you did really well last night, the alarm went off but you got some wee in the toilet, well done.' Very happy with this item.

This product does not work as it’s described. We tried using this item for approx 2 weeks however the alarm kept sounding for no reason. My son was not wet, he was not hot, sweaty & his bedroom was cool as was he, however the alarm continued to go off un-necessarily. I contacted the seller who offered a refund if I returned the item but the seller would not pay the postage (the seller is based in America!).

First 3 nights worked perfectly then it began beeping randomly whilst making bed, son, getting into bed also many false alarms in the night not ideal for anyone. But on the plus side those 3 nights have really helped my son to progress quickly on his own since.

Does the job in that it makes a lot of noise as soon as there’s any liquid in contact with it to the point that it went off when my daughter went to bed with damp hair! My main complaint is that it’s pretty uncomfortable for a little one to lie on

This is such an awful productThe mat is so hard that it is very uncomfortable to lay on , even under the bed sheet .The alarm goes off constantly For no reason even though my sons room is cool and he is not sweating. I would not recommend those product at all. A total waste of money. I’m sure cheaper ones would be more effective

It worked!! So thrilled with this purchase! My 8 year old has had troubles with bedwetting forever and we tried other alarms which made no difference, but this was amazing! We've just taken it off the bed after a dry month, she had maybe 4 wet nights the whole time we used it. Highly recommend this product for kids struggling xx

My 9 year old daughter has gone from 60% wet nights to 10% in a month. She's currently on 11 days straight of dry nights. It's not very comfortable and took some getting used to but I should have bought this years ago.

My son says it is SO uncomfortable and so hard compared to other mats, sadly we have wasted £100 and should have listened to the reviews on this issue.....

I had high hopes for this product but it truly let me and my son down. The alarm would go off without any moisture being present. Then after only a couple weeks of being used the mat ripped which broke the circuit/sensor. So now it’s completely useless. I would have to say this was a huge waist of money and time.
