Not bad, not great
These are high quality rings but there are better options for lower prices. Not knocking warne, their vertical rings are outstanding. The mountain techs are just overpriced.

Garbage scope tube wreckers
These rings are $120 worth of Junk! No better than Chinese made crap. They’re marketed as precision CNC machined but are far from precise. The cap inner radius is tighter and not machined to match the bottoms. I set the torque wrench to 15 in/lbs to install my brand new Sightron 36x42. I stopped before reaching the torque setting as it felt off. Upon removing the caps I discovered the inner bottom edge of the caps deformed and indented the scope tube (see pictures). The deformation was on both sides of both rings. This indicates the caps are not machined to match. A brand new scope destroyed before ever even firing a shot. Not acceptable! I’ll never waste money on anything from Warne again and suggest you don’t either.

Damaged nuts visually. On both sets.
Bought two different sets from two different places and found the nuts were damaged visually where the black was removed.Apparently the nuts had taken a severe blow and removed material but did not affect the function of it on both sets.
