Works!
I’ve been using this product for over a year now, and OMG! It truly works! My skin was oily and had large pores and textured, and now, my pores have shrunk, and my skin is smoother, so much so that my mom (who I inherited my large pores from, as well as my father) noted that my skin looked better! I look so much better, and have built an amazing routine around the retinol, hyaluronic acid, moisturizer (to help over the whole day) and a simple serum! My skin is extra moisturized, my pores smaller (do NOT get it twisted, pores can’t disappear, this just minimizes the appearance of them, AND I have a VERY STRICT skin care routine to keep my pores clean of the oil and debris inside of them!), and I look glowy over all. If it helps, I am a 23 year old female with large pores and oily skin (plenty of sebaceous filaments [been watching pore strip videos by dermatologists]).BEWARE! WHEN YOU START USING RETINOL, MAKE SURE TO USE HYALRONIC ACID AND A MOISTURIZER AND EXTRA IMPORTANT, UV PROTECTION!!!!! RETINOL MAKES YOU MORE OPEN TO SKIN DAMAGE FROM THE SUN!!!

Not greasy and it's nice and CLEAR!
I decided to try this after the brand of my usual c serum went out of business during the pandemic. I have sensitive acne-prone combo skin so I always have to be careful about the products I use. My skin usually gets clogged easily and I can get a lot of irritation from stuff with active ingredients (which sucks more and more the older I get).Anyways, I really like that this serum is nice and clear and I love that the company specifically tells you that it's good for 3 months once it's opened. Vitamin C can be really unstable, so I like knowing when it could be going bad.The serum itself is not very moisturizing, and it's not greasy-feeling or looking. I'm layering with other products so I don't mind that it's not moisturizing (definitely prepare to layer if you need moisture). I'm also mixing this serum with 2 drops of the Ordinary's 3% Resveratrol + Ferulic acid, which is something that I've always used. I was hoping it would have more of a primer-like finish, but it has unobtrusive finish. It doesn't feel heavy once it sinks in, and it also doesn't ball up under my makeup and SPF, so I can't really complain. It doesn't have a scent as far as I've noticed. It broke me out pretty quickly, which I was kind of expecting, but it was definitely breaking me out MORE than I anticipated (i've always suspected my last C serum wasn't very effective, so to me, this proved it). Even though it was breaking me out, my skin wasn't nearly as irritated as it was the last time I tried a 20% C serum - my skin got so raw and red last time, and the breakouts just kept coming so that I had to throw that one out. My skin was just a little red and faintly burned the first couple days this time.As soon as I started noticing the breakouts, I backed off and started using only 1 drop of it mixed with my old c serum, then I upped the amount to 2-3 drops the next week (with less of my old serum), and now I use it on its own. I'm really glad I did this because my skin instantly calmed down (in the past my skin has almost reacted the same way to vitamin c as it does to retinoids). The irritation and breakouts were barely noticeable after this, but I've also been doing red light therapy (with amber, red, and NIR light) on my face every night, which probably helped with some of the irritation (highly recommend red light or blue light therapy if you have any of the skin issues I have!).Anyways, I'll probably be sticking with this serum unless the price starts rising (which seems to happen with a lot of c serums on amazon). My skin started looking brighter and more even toned within a week, and it also looks smoother, so I'm pretty happy with the results I'm getting! I've been using red light therapy for years, so I know it's not just that (i DO think it helps speed up the results though).

Wow
Ok I’m a very vain person when it comes to skin. My skin looks very noticeably younger. My upper eyelids are TIGHT and wayyy less hooded. My under eyes look amazing. Unbelievable!!I’m using the duo on my hands and I can tell a huge different as well.I didn’t know it would work this good. I should have take before and after pics!!! I look younger already at 38. But after using this stuff i look even younger which I thought wasn’t possible,My face is so tight and lifted I look as if I had work done. Not to mention it gives me a beautiful glowy tint when using the serum.Worth every dime! It burns soooo good! You know it works when it burns.

Hoping the manufacturer would make a daytime version by removing the Retinol.
Hoping the manufacturer would make a daytime version by removing the Retinol. I love this Vit C serum; but I don't know why it has Retinol in it, when Vit C and Retinol cancel each other out. Moreover, Retinol is phototoxic, so this serum cannot be used during the daytime.

Works like a charm!
I have been using this serum for a over two weeks now, and I can really see a difference. My skin looks so youthful and my complexion is so much better. I have hyperpigmentation on my face and it has evened everything out. You must pair this with a regular routine though. I did my regular scrub, cleanse, and moisturizer in the morning and night, everyday for two weeks and the results are simply amazing. It's so light weight and it's not sticky or oily, and rubs into my skin so well.

Broken plastic/glass at the bottom of container??
I was so excited when I bought this product. It had great reviews and I have heard great things about Vitamin C oil. When I first opened the product I noticed there was something on the inside of the dropper. After looking closer it resembled glass or small bits of plastic. I assumed this was due to the first time the product was being used so I cleaned out the dropper and went on. I used the product for 3 days and noticed nothing. Yesterday I rubbed the oil on my face like usual and felt a scratch. The plastic was back in the dropper causing me to rub small shards of broken plastic all over my face! I was confused because this means that there had to be broken plastic somewhere. I checked the inside of the bottle and i saw broken glass or plastic floating all around the bottom of the bottle. I am so upset. The actual vitamin c oil was awesome, I'm guessing something messed up with the packaging and I was the lucky person who rubbed shards of broken glass/plastic all over my face!! Wish I could reorder but too scared of it happening again.
