Flysky FS-GT5 6CH RC Transmitter with FS BS6 Receiver, 2.4Ghz AFHDS Transmitter and Receiver for RC Car Boat (Failsafe Function + 200m Range + Great Ergonomic + 4 Climbing Mode)

This is my second FS-GT5 and after almost 2 months of usage I am not disappointed. The first one was a replacement for the dual stick transmitter that came with my wife's Humvee and she feels very comfortable using the FS-GT5.After seeing her FS-GT5 I decided to upgrade my Traxxas TQI that came with my Defender. The TQI served its purpose, but I never liked the difficult way to change parameters. The FS-GT5 is more intuitive to change settings with the LCD readout; I don't need the manual to see how many times I had to push which button and what color the light would flash.The FS-GT5 controls (steering and throttle) are easy to operate; responsive but not stiff. My TQI started to get sticky after less than a year of use and now I feel like I can control my truck much better.The whole transmitter is smaller than the TQI and fits my hand better than the TQI. The FS-GT5 comes with 2 different size handles, but I am using the smaller one.The receiver fits easily into the TRX-4 receiver box. Endpoint adjustment is possible for every channel on the FS-GT5, something people have missed on the TQI after they burned out a shift servo on the TRX-4. I am using the 3-position switch on the FS-GT5 to select high/low and as a bonus now also have a neutral position. This enables me to pull the throttle to start the sound without the rig jumping. The single push-button controls the horn of the sound system, something I never had with the TQI. The 2 dials on top of the radio control the diff locks. Yes, a toggle switch is quicker to operate, but it doesn't take that long to rotate a knob from one extreme to the other. And now the lockers are completely independent, you no longer have to lock front first and then add rear. And again, you can now adjust the endpoints rather than hoping that the servo-saver will protect your servo.I did lose the cruise control function, but that was more a novelty to impress people than something I would use on the trail.People always want to know the useful range of a transmitter. I never even flip up the antenna to extend the range and so far have not lost control in an open field at a point where I could still see what my rig was doing. If you use it for a power boat the advertised range might be important, but for a crawler, drifter or basher it's a great transmitter.

After watching lots of reviews I decided to try it Wow I am impressed.this radio is so simple to program has a great battery life 6 chanels bought it for my crawlers and ground pounder monster truck great radio well worth the money.

These are seriously the best bang for the buck!!! I have a futaba 4pm and a spectrum dx5 pro and this is way easier to use and has most of the features of my other 2 at 1/4 the cost!

best controller ever. nice and cheap. I think its competition grade I use it for my kraton 6s. I wont use anything else. definitely worth the money and it comes with a very easy to bind 6 channel receiver

I love this radio.you can have up to 20 RC cars I think.extra channels are great.the receivers are cheap to.easy to use.so many functions.cant beat it for the price.has great trigger and steering feel.

Great customer support remote is awesome when the first receiver died they sent a replacement quickly for free
