Yes it costs a little more than some USB Hubs but this Hub is the perfect companion for my 27 inch intel iMac 2021. Solid build and providing those extra Usb (x3) and USB C (x1) Front facing inputs which makes for quick and easy access for external drives. I haven't made a direct comparison of transfer speed differences against the rear inputs of the iMac but they are quick enough for my needs (certainly not slow by any means). The Front SD Card slot is also appreciated. No more searching around the rear of the iMac hoping you don't scratch the aluminium as you try to locate a slot.

A solid, colour-matched silver stand to compliment iMac, a nice addition which looks the part and has space for other kit, such as external hard drives underneath. Functionality as you'd expect, which makes using the mac so much easier if you're adding USBs or memory cards. I've placed a couple of WD Passport Drives side by side.I'm impressed with the overall look and feel.

This fits very nicely under my 2021 iMac, giving easy access to a range of connectors without having to mess around with socketss at the back of the computer. External power would be useful though, as it does not provide enough to run my eternal SSD drive via USB-C.

I evaluated several of these stands with built in USB hubs before deckling on this one and I am glad I did. An added benefit is that there is space on to store peripherals such as the mouse and also room to slide the keyboard under the glass stand on which this SATECHI plinth sits.

The stand arrived 2 days before it was due , so delivery was excellent. I was surprised the item arrived with just an address label on the stand box and no protective packaging! The stand raises my iMac 24" just enough to allow ease of viewing the screen and enough for FaceTime meetings. Connection to my iMac was very simple, detach the cable from the underside of the stand and plug the USB-C cable into the thunderbolt port. I have connected 3 external hard drives to the Usb ports on the front and was able to read, transfer the contents of the drives between drives with out issue. The Micro SD drive is a bit fiddly especially when trying to eject the card. The stand is unobtrusive and fits neatly under the iMac. The stand is a bit pricey for what you are getting. Overall no issues yet with the stand, long may it continue.

Does what it was bought for improves my posture while using my computer. highly recommended

Very nicely designed, and looked well-made. It started off very well and useful, but inexplicably stopped working after just over one month of use, despite my checking all connections several times. A pity, as it appears to suit the iMac very well. Had to return it as defective.

I could’ve bought a cheaper product but this appeared to offer exactly what I wanted. Glad I picked this product. Beautifully packaged, looks great, sturdy, and works. Love the SD card slots - really useful for me. Can’t fault it.
