How easy to install is it?

It is fairly easy to install. You need to remove the rear console cover which is held in by clips then just remove the screws in the control unit and disconnect the wire harness. Replace in reverse order. Takes about 5 minutes

From the picture, It looks like this unit will control the rear heated seats. Is that correct?
