Premium price, but premium boots.
As it turns out, work boots don't need a long & painful 'breaking in' period when you pay a premium for them. You get what you pay for, and these are pretty incredible.

Fine boot, some QC issues
Solid boots, feel comfortable with a very short break-in period. Seem to be holding up OK under light-to-medium duty (I'm not out in the mud). The stitching holding the toecap on started coming loose but the manufacturer had a new pair out to me for free within a week or so. They are not actually made by Carhartt, they license the brand name to Black Diamond Boots (bdboots.com). Based on my experience and some others there seems to be some QC issues but they are quick to ship new ones.

Forged by the shoe gods!
I get compliments every day I wear these bad boys. They are super comfy and worth every penny. I’ll buy another pair when these fail. If they ever do..

not wide
It would be great if these were offered in an extra wide width. Toes are really crowded in the shoe.
