The best of the best!
Best wood pole fall protection out there. The simplicity and ease of use is unparalleled. The beefy hardware will keep any climber confident in their gear.

Good price and safe
Has a learning curve to using it efficiently, but it's sturdy and safe.

Excellent, but like most pole squeezes, overpriced
I'm not sure if the manufacturers assume the telco or power utility will pay for the fall restriction and climbing gear, but it's all way overpriced. Otherwise, this cynch lok is very good; the only option I would add is locking snaphooks for belt D rings instead of twist locking carabiners. I'm used to original buckingham bucksqueeze, but after getting used to this one, the cynch lok works fantastic!

Overpriced
There is no reason for this tool to be so overpriced. The mechanics of this tool are very simple.

Works fine, easy enough to use
Good piece of gear for a task that sucks.

Easy to use
May not be the best, but it will catch you. I like it better than most of the competitors, though since 100% fall protection is OSHA required at most companies, they decided to almost double the price in the 5 years since I purchased mine. Now that it’s almost worn out I’m looking at other brands.
