Critic-Aid Clear Scented Skin Protectant with CMC Ointment 2.5 oz. Tube COI7566 1 Ct

Love this stuff for diaper changes! This is what they used in the baby NICU and so we kept it as it was recommended by the nurses!

I attended a wound care webinar and the presenter strongly recommended Critic-Aid to prevent skin breakdown and to also address skin integrity issues to help prevent wounds from requiring medical intervention.As a paraplegic, I'm particularly vulnerable to these issues and as I get older I'm definitely experiencing them. At the time of the webinar, I had a couple potential problem areas and after the webinar I quickly ordered this product to try it. This is a 2.5-ounce tube of clear scented ointment. They do also offer unscented as an option.This is clear, petrolatum-based, and also contains dimethicone. It applies easily to skin and is easy to clean. It helps eliminate moisture. It's already completely cleared up one problem area and is doing well with the other area that is in an awkward location.For adults or children with incontinence issues this is fantastic. Coloplast also makes a lot of my ostomy products and this is a great addition to my self-care regimen. I can use this myself for the most part and I'm finding it to be very effective.I've tried several other products. Some of those products have helped, however, I've really not experienced the kind of help and healing I'm getting here. I'm completely sold and will no doubt keep on using this ointment.

I use this for my baby girl who has very sensitive skin. It keeps her skin from getting too much moisture and so we avoid rashes. Love it

After a shower apply a tiny bit on moist skin. I'm allergic to most all products except this one. It's preserative free. I use it as a barrier ointment for my severely dry eczema irritated hands and neck. I do not use topical steroids any longer and this ointment helps calm the itch. Unfortunately there's petroleum in it , but my choices of products are very limited . A little goes a long way. It goes on clear.

Works as it should.

This was the product where my baby got a really bad diaper rash and nothing else worked. Until I see this product and in worked so well she stopped fuss about her rash and in started clearing up really fast will get this again!
