I am very happy with my purchase

I rather suspect durability would be how much they are used and how rough a person is with their dishes these are meant to be like fine china not an everyday dish .They are not heavy, very light weight It's glass it will break if it's dropped; one cup had it's base to break in one shipment of these dishes (got some thru another company). I do love them they are a nice addition to my collection of blue and white dishes. I also have Blue Willow dishes. Hope this helps someone

Great thickness versatility good different sizes quality extreme value

Do not know who the shipper is but hope I always get them. Some reviews complain about the dishes being broken so I worry until I open the box then breathe a sigh of relief. These are always well wrapped. This pattern is a puzzle to me, trying to figure it out. Says it is an medieval Italian landscape with historical ruins. Love it.

I have been collecting the Spode products fir years and I love the story’s that the design inspires plus the quality of the design and the glazing finishI love every piece and continue to look for the sales on the soup terrine is so beautiful but a little pricy for me and a few other lovely pieces on the sets

I bought these two set in addition to six sets I had before. I bought also two soup plate sets.Very beautiful, however, the paint is not always same intensity even it was made in England. What was good IT WAS DELIVERED BY AMAZON! DELIVERED ON WEEKENDS AND IN THE EVENINGS. APPARENTLY, NO UNIONS HAS COME TO THE SCENE YET. What a relief!

Despite Amazon's claims that Spode is made in England, the set I received was made in Malaysia. I was very upset by this and almost sent it back, but do like the china and decided to keep it. My Tableware explained that as of late 2007, all Spode china is made in Malaysia or India (I have not verified this). I have no idea how this might compare to the Spode that was made in England. Other reviewers claim that the quality isn't as high, that things are printed off-center, etc. I don't see that with my set, but it's possible that I'm missing something.I'm only giving this 3 stars because the china is not made in England as advertised. I'm happy with the set, but if you're looking for something with a "Made in England" stamp, you probably want to keep looking.My Tableware packaged everything well, and offered very good customer service.
