Definitely worth the money
Recently I had a boiler failure, so I had to buy some emergency heating first off I purchased a unit a bit like a Dyson with the loop on top. Very disappointing returned it. So I purchased this particular oil fired radiator and I have to say the unit is quite excellent it has Power settings, ranging if memory serves me correct from 750, 1502.5 kW. I tend to use it on the middle one because it gets plenty hot enough and it will heat the room quite rapidly and because of its thermostat it does not run continually, but turns it self on and off. Depending on the temperature that you are such, so as I say as a standing heating source, it really is quite excellent finish and Bill are exactly as it should be, and you can take it for granted that when I put a review it is exactly as I have portrayed, I don't take any prisoners if it's crap, I will say so all the best everybody.

Fast and effective - Puremate 2500W oil radiator
I spend a fair bit of time in my study either with my 3D printer or home lab - I like to learn but It isnt cost effective to heat the whole house when I am only in a single room for the majority of the time or when I have a long print running and being cold doesn't help 3D prints (in the colder months I use this to keep the room at a comfortable temperature)I opted for this radiator to use in cold times when I am in the room either studying, working from home or printing, and its colder than I'd like but dont want the whole house heated.I've used similar products before, and like someone else mentioned, I've got a fan heater, a 2000W to be precise and it's 'ok'. Because it's a fan heater it's directional, if the heat is facing you it can get warm quickly, if it's facing away, the heat isn't always felt, I am also not a fan (no pun intended) of the heat being blown at me.This radiator changes that, I'll be honest, I didnt have high hopes, but it heats up rapidly and you can feel it almost immediately. The heat is uniform, and 'radiates' as it's name suggests, in fact it wasn't long before I was adjusting it to a slightly lower temperature as it was starting to get warm. It will take time to find the correct marking as there is no way of knowing what temperature you are setting, it's just a rotary dial from low to high, it would be nice if there was either written markings with rough temperatures or a full marking showing the temperatures the thermostat is aiming for. I understand it might not be accurate due to your distance from the unit and size of the room, but rough temperatures being aimed for would be nice - after all the thermostat cuts off when it reaches temperature based on the dial position.Visually it looks like any ordinary radiator, a mobile one if you will so it's easy to know what it is. Putting it together took no more than 5 minutes without the instructions, but they are there should you need them, it is easy to move with the wheels, sturdy, well built and ideal for those places a regular radiator simply wont fit or costs too much to have installed, or like me, when you only want to heat a single room while you are in it and you want to keep it comfortable.Would be ideal for garages/workshops, conservatories, or outbuildings. Also ideal for those who work in those container like offices (I don't know what they are called).Well packaged, with only a few pieces to put together and you're ready to go, with the added option of a built-in timer for scheduled use, an adjuster for setting the heat and 3 power levels (I assume for how quickly it gets to temperature), this has a setting for everyone.I will likely keep the box to store it in during the months i dont need it to retain it's colour and condition, disasembly and re-assembly will take only minutes to do, so this is not an issue. If you are looking for a portable heater, I would highly recommend this one. There are a couple of minor things i would prefer to change, the power cable for example, i would prefer it to be round the back of the unit, not coming out of the front, not a huge issue but my personal preference and the cable, while it has a nice built in storage, I'd prefer it to be a little longer - not gripes, just personal choice on the item itself.Otherwise, as above, I would definately recommend this, no issues with this product whatsoever.

Finally warm and cosy
Fed up of feeling cold because of useless storage heaters I decided to buy this radiator after reading many reviews on oil filled radiators. Although this one is a bit more expensive than others it has been worth every penny. I can set the timer for the radiator to come on at times to suit me and actually feel warm and cosy when at home. Before I was paying an energy bill to not be warm and comfortable, at least now I am paying to be warm. I’m still monitoring the cost and find it’s roughly costing around £1 to £1.50 a day to have heat in the morning before work and heat on an evening after work (I’m using on the number 2 setting and adjust the temperature dial to suit for the days weather) I live in a victorian building with high ceilings so was worried about whether the radiator would heat the room but it heats up really quickly. If the weather turns colder I know the radiator can be set higher to provide more heat if needed. I do move the heater between two rooms for use so will definately look at buying another and would recommend this if you are looking to buy this type of product.Update: I recently purchased a second one of these oil filled radiators and I have to say just a tiny bit disappointed with the second one. This second one came in it’s main box (the one I bought before was packaged in a secondary box so was more protected) and so the latest one has a couple of dented fins and the button you turn to select the power (I, II or III) looked like it wasn’t on properly. Although it works perfectly, and keeps my lounge nice and warm it makes a constant ticking noise (I use the timer on both radiators and the first I bought is completely silent) and also a strange but not loud grinding noise. I notice it even over the tv volume. So it seems, luck of the draw with these radiators as to whether you get a perfect one like my first or a slightly disappointing one as I have with my second!

Amazing!
Let me tell you, I HIGHLY recommend this heater. Omg. It's amazing. I'm typing this now, laying on the settee in my log cabin. The heat from the radiator is filling the entire room. Doesn't take long at all to heat up. I literally plug this into an extension cable, and leave it in the main room to warm the room up and it dries my laundry on the airer. Then, when I'm ready to retreat to my bedroom, I wheel it through and it warms the room so fast as it's already heated up anyway!!Honestly, it's an absolute life-saver. I've no central heating or gas in my log cabin. There is one dry intertia radiator in the main room and a second in my bedroom. However, they takes a while to warm and compared to this heater, I have been using this heater. Also, the inertia doesn't seem to keep the room heated once switched off. This heater does.I would definitely buy again. Thank you so much.
