Impressive quality!
These are big chunks of beautiful, colorful Himalayan salt. I purchased them to replenish a salt lamp, and they were perfect for my needs. I have enough left over to fill another lamp. I love the glow of the light through the salt, and the salt is supposed to help purify the air. With 4 cats, I need all the help I can get!

Upgrade to faux fire!!!
I used these giant salt chunks as “embers” in my kitschy faux fireplace, and they are adorably perfect! I just threw this together in about ten minutes to have some sort of fire for a Xmas party. I forgot to set it up until the party was pretty much starting, so it really is just thrown in the fireplace, no arranging or effort to make it look cuter, lol. I think with some focused rearranging/creative touches, I think they could look actually quite realistic! Very good amount for the price, nicely packaged, and good color saturation/variation. Huge thumbs up!

its big nice chunks of salt
I bought it for my sauna. it's a nice touch. adds color and I like to hold them while I'm sweating. not really sure what benefit they have, but I feel it they were worth whatever I paid for them.

Nice Batch nice colors
Package came in a 8x8x8 box and within a plastic bag tied well containing 2-3" chunks of nicely pink shaded salt. They were clean and not highly fractured so no lightening from internal fractures. These often exhibit flat saw cut sides with water glazing from saw blade cooled and lubed with water also kept dust down. Dust was minimal so its nice to see clean relatively clear salt stones with normal surface cleavages.I will enjoy what these nice quality salt stones have to offer.

I may be overly picky so take my negative comments with a grain of... or rather a chunk of salt.
First: The nitpicking... The box came busted open and falling apart. It didn't withstand shipping very well. The liner bag however was thankfully intact. I really like these salt chunks however I was a little mislead by the pictures. Most of the chunks I received have a flat side that was obviously from when it was mined as blocks (probably cut with powered saws cooled with water, hopefully clean water... most likely salty water... based on the surface texture of the flat sides they were obviously exposed to water). It appears the blocks were later struck with blows to cleave into smaller pieces. Quite a few tended to be a bit flat and not so roundish. I suspect it's not as "hand processed" as the description implies, and a substantial commercial venture involving saws and machinery was used to extract and process the salt.Second: The good. Unless you look closely and are critical you may not notice the flat sides on the chunks, besides I feel the chunks of salt are still very attractive. Moreover I think the mining process they used may have kept the blocks clean enough and in all respects the end product looks absolutely clean. The color variation matched closely the images in the picture, with a good percentage of pink hues (almost all chunks pink, just a few white-ish); granted when you shine light through them they look a little pale than in ambient lighting. Finally: I liked these well enough I bought another box that I'm waiting for right now.

Huge chunks!
The value is great for the money but know that you are getting big chunks of Himalayan salt, on average 2 x 2". These are not small chunks of salt as I expected to automatically add to plant and other gift bowls for ambiance. I've been breaking them up with a hammer and yes, it works but it takes a while. I'm a small lady and can only break up a few chunks at a time before the shoulder tension kicks in. If returns were easier, I probably would've returned them and gotten smaller chunks that I didn't manually have to do anything with myself.

Good price for what you get. Good mix of colors and shapes. I'm using them for decorating.
