Magnetic Screen Door Mesh Curtain Fiberglass Full Frame Velcro with Upgrade Magnets (36 X 96)

We just purchased a 2nd screen to replaced the first one that failed. It came out of the bag with a "crease" in the screen which quickly developed into a tear which gets bigger daily. This is the exact same problem the first one had. I'm guessing it has something to do with the manufacturing process because the tear is in the exact same place at the center of the screen near the "handle tabs". I've contacted the mfr to see about getting a replacement - we'll see if they stand by their product...UPDATE: The mfr got back to me almost immediately and has offered to ship a replacement. 5 stars for customer service. Hopefully this next one doesn't have the same issue.

I bought this again this season after having to throw away the prior one in the fall. It had come apart at the seams at the bottom from stepping on it accidentally. It’s a great product and works very well if you pay attention to install it correctly - remember to not attach the top strip of tape straight across, but at least a half inch higher in the center than the sides of the door frame. And you want a taught good fit so that it doesn’t sag anywhere, looseness will make it much more likely to get your foot or shoulder or dog caught on it, which is easy to do - the photo illustration is hilarious now that I’ve used this product. I would never walk through it carrying a tray like that unless I wanted to wrap myself up in it cursing.This second time around installing it, I went against the directions and installed the Velcro tape to the wall first, and then attached the screen starting at the top. This made it easier to get a much better alignment and seal. It still hangs a couple inches too long for my door frame which means I still have to take care to not step on it and it leaves a gap at the bottom 12 inches or so. Did I mention it’s easy to snag on this?...Seriously though it’s worth the money, it works, and I’ve recommend this product to friends.

The best quality mesh screen I have come across so far, but not without its faults. I purchased two sizes from this same company and the heavy duty feel to them is great and feels like the screen itself should last a long time. The issue I had is that if you have dogs that use them as much (if not more) than you do, the bottom of the screen with the weights in it will start to separate from the screen, giving a piece of fabric attached to both sides and not in the middle. The dogs get caught in this and freak out, sometimes hurting themselves a bit. I had to cut the bottoms off of both purchased screens.

During the summer it's nice to have the doors open on the van but that leaves us as targets for mosquitos and whatnot. It's expensive to buy a screen specifically made for a van which are usually specific to a model. We have a 2020 Metris and didn't find any. So this money it was worth trying it. My wife removed the edging, cut the screen to size and sewed the edging back on. It's perfect! We used the included velcro across the top and down the sides. I also have a few magnets I've taken out of hard drives that help around the curves of the van. She left it long enough so that there is a slight buckle at the bottom which so no need to have any attachments there. It works! We can see out and get the air circulating in the hot summer.

I've had a few of these over the years. They last about 2 or 3 years and then start to lose some magnetism for secure closing. FYI, when installing, be sure to leave a little slack where the two side meet. The slack allows the magnets to hold more securely. If you pull the sides flat where they meet, that tension will wear the magenets out much sooner. You'll need to use the tacks that come with it in addition to the velcro which will let go after a few months. These are very good quality and work well.

Got this as a gift. Was put up day they got it and they are happy. Their old one had weather rotted. So great gift.

I did like the sturdiness of the fiberglass mesh. However the packet is suppose to come with the Velcro strips and thumbtacks to install. They were NOT included in packet. Since this was a replacement screen mesh( I had purchased similar item from another company, but it was a flimsy mesh and the dog tore right through it) I was able to use the left over Velcro strips and fasteners from the previous purchase and was able to install this new one with them.

This is the second one I've ordered. It is easy to install and very durable. I have 6 grandchildren ages 12 to 3. They are in and out constantly. I purchased this screen so that my dog can get outside by her self so I don't need to be there to let her out. It works great. It has 28 magnets (which is more than most scrrens) and it closes every time you go thru it. Highly recommend this product
