Amazing product, but pricey
This product worked wonders for me and I would 100% recommend. I caught a flight home whilst I was slightly congested and my ears became fully blocked. I had suffered with blocked ears for a week and visited the Doctor Who prescribed me antibiotics however these did not help and I was becoming very restless and anxious in trying to find a way to rectify this I was upset and frustrated as I couldn’t hear a thing and thought this was something I would have to live with. I bought this product as I had nothing else to lose. I was sure it wouldn’t work. However after the first go my ears popped and I was able to hear again I was so relieved anyone who is suffering from middle ear or fluid past the eardrum I would definitely recommend this product. My ears aren’t 100% but they’ve gone from 15% to now 85%. The package tells you to use this product for three weeks which I will continue to do so and will bring it with me when I go on any future travels. Highly recommend.

Eustachiab tube and blocked inner ear with inner ear fluid? This absolutely works.
I have suffered from hearing issues for many years. Having what felt like reduced hearing for at least the last decade. As a kid I had grommets put in my ears which resolved the problem but only whilst they stayed in my ear, within a few years my hearing seemed to be deteriorating again.Over the years I’ve tried multiple times to get to the bottom of my hearing issues with various doctor visits and specialist ENT reviews. The latest specialist suggested I had a blocked inner ear, with fluid in the inner ear and a blocked Eustachian tube which meant the fluid couldn’t drain and my ear had negative pressure. They suggested I buy an “AirPopper” but at £100 I was hesitant. Then I came across this product.I cannot over state how much this has worked. Even after only the first use my hearing had suddenly unblocked and everything seemed SO LOUD. I cannot believe this one little device has fixed years and years of frustration over straining to hear.It was a little difficult when using it for the first time. It felt like I would never be able to inflate the balloon with my nose. But careful, slow, focused blowing through the nostril and it happened! Suddenly I felt the ear unblocking and I could hear. There was no discomfort, it just takes a bit of careful blowing the first time. Since then it has been much easier.I cannot recommend this product enough if you have been diagnosed with a blocked eustachian tube and negative pressure in the inner ear with a build up of fluid.

Great for ETD and other ear problems
I've been using the Otovent since Feb 2023 as I suffered from SSNHL in Jan 23, it helps to open up your eustachian tubes and allow fluid in the middle ear to drain again.I have horrible ETD and I'm also on fluticasone furoate(flonase) which is a mild corticosteroid, I'd be in trouble if it wasn't for the Otovent. It's easy to setup, use & clean. The box comes with one nosepiece and 10 Balloons.Much safer than doing the Valsalva maneuver which is good, I know straight away if there fluid in my ears/blockage or inflammation around the tympanic membrane as when first blowing into the balloon it will instantly start to be a very dull pain telling me "STOP"The only downside to this, if any, is the cost. The balloons do last a while though so that helps and in the grand scheme of things £15 isn't expensive compared to most treatments for ENT issues. They used to be £10 so a 50% increase is quite substantial for what is essentially a piece of plastic and balloons.I would be in difficulty without it though so I will continue to use Otovent.*I do wish they would add a pack of 10/20 balloons on their own as I don't need a new nosepiece every time and it's an unnecessary cost

Helps with “Glue ear”.
Purchased this on the recommendation of a NHS audiologist. Did not hold out much hope but surprisingly it made a significant improvement to my hearing. Not a 100% improvement but I am persevering for the recommended period.

bit pricey but they help with eustacian tube blockage
A lot of cash for a tiny plastic snout and ten balloons, but this does offer relief short-term if you suffer from blocked eustachian tubes as I do. I took a note from a hospital nurse and found it's more effective if you hold some water in your mouth and (once you've inflated the balloon in the way instructed), swallow the water down a few times. The little balloons are nothing special - so once this lot have lost their resistance I'll look for a similar-sized normal small balloon to replace them.

Expensive snake oil
All you get is a round piece of plastic to attach to a balloon. You then stick the plastic up your nose and partaially inflate the balloon. You get 10 balloons in the package. They last about a week to 10 days each. After that you can buy more at £8.80 or often even more for 5! It's cheaper to get a complete new kit. I'm going to try ordinary cheap party balloons. If no idea if it works. They say it can take months. That's long enough for the condition to go away naturally. It certainly hasn't cured mine.

Hearing returned!
I bought this for my daughter because she had 30% hearing loss and doctor suggested trying this whilst waiting for next ENT appointment. We were told my daughter would need hearing aids so this was very much a last chance scenario. My daughter was 15 at the time and was struggling in GCSE year to hear properly in school and social situations. She struggled first to use this as it’s quite difficult to use but after her second time using it her ear seemed to almost pop and her hearing improved. We have had her ENT appointment since and her eardrums are now doing what they should be and we were told she doesn’t need hearing aids!Definitely recommend!!!
