Costumes Baby's Lil' Lion Costume, Brown, Medium (12-18 Months)

This costume was great! Make sure that you buy one size up because I was going back and forth with the med and large and I got the large (listed as 12 months) for my 6 month old and it fit perfect with just enough room for heavy clothes underneath (it's cold in Oct. in Chicago). Washed the costume before putting it on my son and it held up and was soft and warm. Made our 1st Halloween even better to see our son in such an adorable costume! =)

This costume was absolutely adorable on my 13 month old. I bought the 12-18 mos size and it worked out perfectly. Everywhere he went in this costume, people could not help but comment on how cute he looked. My only negative comment is that when I received the costume, the lion's mane, around the face, shed a lot of loose pieces from when the mane was cut. It seemed like it was one solid piece and the cuts were made, but the material that frayed was not cleaned out. I sat down on two separate occasions and pulled all the loose pieces out of the mane. I finally got them all after a couple attempts. It did not continue to shed, it was just full of loose pieces from the original cutting process. I haven't washed the costume yet, so I can't comment on how well it stands up to the washer and dryer. Overall, I would recommend this costume! I loved how my son's face stood out with that curly lion's mane around it. He had Halloween portraits taken in this costume with his twin sister, who was a pink bunny. SO CUTE!!! I don't like animal costumes that have a hood with the animal's eyes, nose and mouth on top of the hood. I like for my child's face to represent the animal's face. This lion costume was just what I wanted. Aside from loose pieces left over from the cutting process, I was Very satisfied with this costume.

This costume was ridiculously cute. I'm late to review it but we used it last Halloween and get oohs and ahhhs all night. We were in Connecticut, so it was the perfect costume to wear because it kept him warm. I didn't bother with the tail because I figured we would just lose it, but it didn't make any difference. I would recommend it, may use it again or hand it down to someone else.My kiddo is on the smaller side, so I stuck with the size range that he was in as opposed to going bigger and it was a great fit. He was 17 months old and we got the 12-18 month.

This costume was awesome! I was worried because of some bad reviews but it was great. After reading the reviews I sized down to I believe 12-18 months even though my son wears 24 month clothes. He turned 1 on October 3rd.The only complaint is the velcro not staying stuck on the tail but that was very minor & could be due to him sitting in his stroller.It was also very warm & with pajamas underneath he stayed nice & cozy on a chilly CT night trick or treating with his older brother and sister.Everyone loved his costume everywhere we went! I would definitely buy another costume from this brand in the future.

Cute enough, but it was sewn incorrectly and was crazy twisted when on. My neighbor (a seamstress) looked at it and said there was fixing it, short of starting over. It was to late to send back or reorder, so my grandson wore it as it was sent... Thankfully he's only a year and a half old and we only went to a few neighbors to trick-or-treat, otherwise he wouldn't have worn it at all. Very disappointed, and have to question the process of their QC Department!

I ordered the medium 12-18 month costume for my 10 month old. He is tall (30 inches) and weighed about 22 lbs. at the time he wore it. The costume has 4 pieces: a body suit, that zips up the back and snaps between the legs (for easy diaper changes); a detachable tail that hooks with Velcro; the booties are separate and not connected to the body suit (a good thing if your kid is really long), and then the headpiece which is a hat that fastens by Velcro under the chin. The body suit is well lined and pretty warm, good for chilly fall nights in the northeast.The body of the costume fit well, except for the headpiece, which was a bit small. He really didn't like having the bottom of the head piece fastened because it was really tight. He fussed and started crying when I put it on him. But once I unsnapped the Velcro on the head piece (leaving it "open" on the bottom) he didn't mind the costume at all. I will say that the overall construction of the costume was excellent. It was high quality and everyone who saw it was impressed. So overall l would recommend this costume.

I don't frequent "Review" posts but with this costume I felt inclined to.The first costume:Arrived on time- That was great!Quality of product- Materials used were that above the quality that you would purchase at Party City HOWEVER, the sewing job was a total MESS. There is an inner lining and the outer material. The inner pants were sown in criss crossed from the second layer..so when my 1 year old was trying to put her legs through the outside looked twisted from the waist down. She could barely fit her legs through (she's 14 months old 24 lbs) the size purchased was M. Needless to say, I put in the order for return immediately. I sent it back that same day.The second costume:Arrived speedily. Cool!Quality of the product- The suit was sewn correctly! No mishaps. The head piece however...was also another issue. The inner lining on the right side (2 inches) was sewn to the front (face hole portion) of the hood...again would make an issue for the purpose of the hat if you cant wear it.I decided I would just make a small cut and adjust it myself because I could not chance that the third time around something would be missing or something else would be amiss.So there ya have it folks. It is a hit or miss on the sew job but the quality of the material is beyond what you normally find at Halloween costume stores.p.s Sorry I can not provide pictures of the twisted mess the first costume was but i couldn't put it in a box and ship it any faster. I was so disappointed.
