Kung Fu Hustle [Blu-ray] [2005] [US Import] [2004]

This is my favourite martial arts film. Great fun and great characters. If you don't mind reading sub titles give yourself a treat and give this a watch, you will not be disappointed. I haven't watched the dubbed version but if you really can't stand sub titles get the dubbed version but would recommend sticking to the sub titled version. 5*****

The CGI and comedy value makes this a classic, I have watched it a few times and it still gets better.

Funny and weird kung fu movie

Classic homage to old martial movies.

To be totally honest i'm not a massive martial arts film fan as they always look so staged and awkward with really cheesy, badly dubbed dialogue and pretty terrible wire fight scenes, but i found myself accidentally watching this film late in the night and being totally drawn in from start to finish.The real test of how good this film really is the fact i watched it in cantonese with english subtitles which is pretty much no go for me - but as others have said it's worth watching in the original language with subtitles as the humour really shines through with the superb acting.There is just not a single moment in the film i didn't enjoy - the fight scenes are just incredible considering the age of the special effects. The humour is just perfect and had me laughing plenty of times. The violence is edgy but not gory. The love interest had me close to tears, even if it was a little cheesy.What can say, i regularly drift off from films these days through boredom half way through but not with this.Quite simply one of the best, most enjoyable films i've ever seen and totally unmissable ! - Trust me give it a go :)

This is one of my top 5 films without a doubt. Not your typical Kung Fu film and not quite a comedy but not without its comedic moments. Theres something for everyone in this film. Don’t hesitate, just watch it.
