It depends on whether you want the subs to run at 2ohms or 1 ohm. Two dual 4 ohm subs will wire down to 1 ohm or 4 ohms when paired depending on if you hook them up series or parallel. Two dual 2 ohm subs will wire down to .5 ohms in parallel which is too low for most amps to handle or 2 ohms in series. So it depends on what you need your amp to run at to get the desired power output. Check the output power of the amp at 1,2,4 ohm etc. and look at the combined rms power rating of your subs. If each sub handles 1000 watts rms and your amp puts out 2000 watts at 1ohm you need two dual 4 (d4) subs wired in parallel to get 1 ohm. You follow?

Would a 1.75 cb feet ported box tuned at 32 hz work well with this sub?

Yea. A box that size would be plenty big and sundown subs love low tuned boxes

Could this run 930w RMS? I have it wired at 2ohm (single sub @ 31hz) and wanting to upgrade from my 550w RMS amp.

Yes. Be sure you're gains are set properly so your not sending a clipped signal and this will eat up 930 watts. Mine are on 1200 watts each and have zero issues !!!!
