My Hotpoint tumble dryer's condenser pump started making weird noises after 7 years of use.I decided to try and fix it myself so opened up the machine and took a note of the old pump's part number - which matched the label on this one exactly.After removing the old one and cleaning up the pump unit container (including the float which was still in good nick but just grimy!) and fitting the new pump unit - everything is now working perfectly again!Back story - I did initially replace the rear drum bearing a few days earlier thinking that was the cause of the screeching noise but the old one wasn't actually too worn and didn't fix the problem! Later identified the noise as coming from the pump unit! ;)Anyhow great replacement part and highly recommended! :)
