Therm-a-Rest Trekker Stuffable Backpacking Pillow Case

I use this for my backpacking excursions. Yes, it's just a "pillow case". Very Light, and takes up almost no room during the daytime hikes. At night I stuff if with my spare clothing and it makes the perfect pillow. This "pillow" does not try to escape from you like many of the inflatable pillows. It's soft, comfortable and feels good against my face. SEARCH OVER.

Comfort while hiking is huge. I carry a nice hiking pillow, but needed more support for my neck, which prior to this case meant carrying another tube shaped pillow. What this case allows me to do is stuff my clothing and puffy jacket into it at night shaping it to help with my neck, with my pillow also inside it. And, it is also serving as a stuffsack in the daytime for my clothing. While it could be a little lighter, it also feels very durable and I think it will last for many hikes to come. It is sized for a hiking pillow, and fabric is a comfortable feel on my skin.

I have tried a ton of different pillow options at this point. I've brought along full size pillows, tiny size camping pillows, air inflated pillows, and now this pillow case. This is by far the best option. Even for summer camping when I don't bring many clothes, stuffed with 2 polyester tshirts, one pair of shorts, one pair of pants, it makes a really comfortable pillow that feels very close to the one I sleep with at home. I was skeptical when I first saw it--basically just a pillow case with no zipper. But once I tried it, I'm really glad I bought it. Very light and very comfortable. I think my long search for a light, comfortable pillow option for camping is finally over.

Very very high quality!! Ordered this for my son. He sleeps very well, like a typical teen boy he can sleep anywhere and on anything 😆. But he truly likes this alot. He uses it as a dirty clothes bag while hiking, and also as his pillow. He sleeps better in the woods with this than he does a home in bed. Just like me.

Initially, I was impressed with the material and comfort of the pillow. I had purchased for my older sister who lives in Guatemala. I was using the pillow in Guatemala during our travels and was ok at first, but quickly starting falling apart. A hole starting forming then I noticed how the inside stitching was poorly put together and was unraveling. Im disappointed in the quality.

This pillow case is a clever way to kill two birds with one stone. It allows you to stuff some clothing, towels, or any other soft materials into it to act as a pillow. This can then double as a ditty bag to help organize some of the materials in your backpack.The quality of the materials is quite good, with solid stitching. I have washed it a few times, and it seems to be holding up to use plus washing.The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that it can be a bit problematic to keep items inside the case. I have had items work their way out of the case while I sleep. I think they could improve upon this item by adding a zipper, or even a couple buttons.

I love this pillow case! After years or using a stuff sack filled with clothes as a pillow when backpacking, this lightweight soft alternative is very welcome. Nylon stuff sacks make an annoying rustling sound whenever you move and just aren't the right shape for a comfortable pillow.This soft fleecy pillow case weighs almost nothing, and make quite a comfy pillow when stuffed with a fleece or other clothing. The opening is gusseted so the clothing doesn't just fall out during the night. The pillow case can double as an organizational tool to keep all your clean clothes in during the day. Highly recommend for backpacking!
