L’Oréal Paris Infallible Never Fail Lipcolour, Azalea

The L'Oreal line of these Infallible lipsticks is just great. With most lipsticks, your lips have color and shine for an hour or two and you have to touch up. I have put this brand of lipstick on at 7:00 in the morning and by 3:00 you can still see shades of it - even after eating lunch! With no touch ups all day either - although the shiny silver container it comes in serves as a mini-mirror if you need to touch up quickly. It truly is the best lipstick I've ever used and I have it in 4 favorite shades. This review is under the Teaberry one, which I like because it is a kicky fun pink.Applying this product is a two part process. First, your lips must be clean and dry. Apply the colored stain with the lip gloss applicator brush to your lips. Don't be gloopy - treat it a bit like nail polish, brush it on once and don't go over it again. If it feels too thick, quickly use a tissue to lightly blot any excess, but again, just one quick blot. Once the color has completely dried (and you really do have to wait for it to dry), apply the clear twist-up chapstick-like sealer which adds shine and moisture to your lips. It might take you a few times before you get it right, but for a lipcolor like this one that lasts ALLLLL day long, it is totally worth it!BUY THIS LIPSTICK! You won't be let down..

This is a beautiful deeper color for autumn. Really love the wear on this line of lipsticks, soft yet stays put until taken off.

I like the L'oreal Infallible Never Fail Lipcolour. It's a discontinued item, so it's great to find it available on Amazon. Unfortunately, Rosebud was not my color. Returned it.

This stuff is amazing.It's my first lip stain, and I bought it because I go out a lot and have to forgo lipstick because it'll just end up gone or all over my face because of singing or drinking or kissing. Before I had ever tried lip stain I believed it to be something that could go on my lips and stay there, almost like if I were to draw on my lips with a sharpie. This is what I got. I've since tried other stains that just don't do it. They either don't stain at all, or are basically a sheer lipstick that still feels present on my lips and transfer on everything.This doesn't do any of that. It feels funny and sticky before it dries, but feels fine after the layer of balm. YOU HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO use this on bare lips - no moisturizer or anything. If your lips need care, condition them a while before putting this on. First time wearing this I thought it felt a little strange and dry, like the tightness of your skin right after washing your face,but you get used to it, and I find after removing it my lips don't feel damaged from it.I use olive oil to remove this and it comes right off. After this sets, I can rub my lips as much as I want and it wont move at all and lasts until I take it off hours later. I've slept in this and woken up with it intact the next morning. It comes off only with oil based remover, so stays put.My only complaint is that if you eat something extra greasy and don't have this on you to reapply, it looks a bit funny. What happens is the oil takes off the tiniest bit, but in the inner lips and in little patches in the rest, but it's not like normal lipstick where you could wipe it off completely if you don't have the color with your and there is really no other fix. Try to wipe this off and you won't succeed.So: the staying power could either be a really great thing, or a really bad thing. But I now get to karaoke, drink, and make out with whoever I want and look fierce at the same time, so I'm going to say it's a really, really, great thing.

I ordered Nutmeg, and I have very very fair skin. I LOVE this shade! I used a wine colored liner & it looks amazing. LONG lasting! I rubbed my lips after hours of wearing & still it didn't come off, although after about 7/8 hours, or did start to flake off a bit. And to remove it, it tells you to use a oil based remover but I will for sure break out. I tried using my oil free eye makeup remover & it came right off.It did feel a bit dry after a few hours, but I liked the way it looks more matte than shiny with step 2, so I lived with it for awhile.I might mention that I only bought this because it was compared as a dupe for Cashmere by LimeCrime. I NEVER wear lipstick, EVER! But I fell in love with Cashmere yet didn't want to pay $20 for a tube of stuff I never use.It's somewhat of a close match but I actually like the brown tone that nutmeg has with my pale skin.Love it!
