Fits perfectly for a 2025 tacoma

Using to haul a 13 foot Kayak. Sturdy feeling. I also used the Yakima rack HD cross bars. Easy enough to install. Came with the 3 needed tools. Also bought the separate adapter for Utility tracks inNissan/Toyota pickups.

all of the listing and reviews I've read had led me to believe (or I miss read them entirely) stated that you needed one adapter kit per tower install so one rack system needed x2 adapter kits. This is not the case, you will only need one kit, again i may have miss read something somewhere and ordered an extra one. Other than my small problem the kit came with all parts needed for assembly on my 17 Tacoma, had a small learning curve on the first base because of the way the rail system on the truck works with the kit orientation. Sturdy and well made product from Yakima.

Kit ordered June 24, 2025 does not fit 2024+ Tacoma TRD models. (Composite bed with rails) I had to drill new holes in the mounts to match up with the mounting plates. I've sent the information to Yakima and we're discussing an update on the kit to make it fit properly on 2024+ model vehicles. No ETA.

Like most Yakima products, this one is also on the pricey end. However, if you’re attaching the Outback or Outpost truck bed tower mounts to your Tacoma or Frontier, and have the bed rails on those vehicles, this product takes the strength and stability of those towers to the next level. Easy to integrate into the bed towers and rock solid once set up.

This kit does not include the base plates, it is the hardware only. Buyer beware

These are beefy and well made. I have a Nissan Frontier with the utilitrak rails and I had to have a machine shop slot the holes to fit. The Tacoma option has slots for a range of mounting. The Nissan only had a single hole. If your utilitrack rails don’t match the holes perfectly your mounts will sit above the bed rail caps.

This is a big win for folks with Toyota Tundras that didn’t want to lose the existing tie down tails that come with the truck.Once installed these are rock solid, no wiggle room. Love them.
