3M Durapore Surgical Tape 1/2"X10Yard Roll Silk Hypoallergenic - Box of 24 - Model 1538-0

I like to keep my first-aid kit well stocked since I am unfortunately very injury prone, and it made much more sense to buy the big box of tape that only cost a little more than twice what the two-pack cost.I’ve had to use the tape quite a bit lately due to a couple big wounds, and I’ve still not finished the first roll in the box. The adhesion lasts pretty well until the next bandage change, as long as you don’t do a ton of sweating or expose it to a lot of friction. The width of the tape makes it very versatile and easy to use in smaller areas. I prefer using scissors to cut the length but it tears pretty easy on its own should you not have scissors handy.Overall, I would recommend this tape. For me, it adheres longer than plastic or paper tape, and find myself reaching for this far more often than any others. Really great value for the price.

Trying to figure out what kind of tape I needed for taping a toe down was crazy. The adhesive on the tape I had gotten at the local drug store was making my toe raw and making the skin break down. So, to Amazon I went. I bought Transpore, Durapore, and Micropore tape. I figure, it's tape I will definitely use it. Not only am I accident prone, my son has inherited that particular trait. Transpore tape is the lovely clear tape that is perforated both horizontally and vertically so it is very easy to tear. My skin has had no reaction to the adhesive and the sticking is power is fairly good, so long as the area is free of moisture and well dried. Durapore tape is the cloth tape that is more silken than your typical athletic tape. Again, my skin has had no reaction to the adhesive. I do tend to find that the sticking power is much better, but you also get the residual gummy tape goo left over more so than the others. Also, while it is fairly easy to tear, it does get cankerous sometimes. Micropore tape is the paper tape. I cannot really give you a review on that, as I haven't used it yet. All of them I got in the 1/2" width. It is a good width for solely using tape on fingers and toes and small places. Or taping bandages down, NOT sealing them.

Best product available in a large pack but its so good that I will keep some for future use

We use this tape for our daughter's medical need. It tears down the middle or across easily. It stays on for days. It comes off fairly easily with some warm water. And we bought a box and got an amazing price. Highly recommend it. And shipping was fast.

Excellent medical tape that stays on skin and does the job!

Due to a surgery-related infection, my skin has become very sensitive and fragile. Normal band-aids and cloth tape literally ripped my skin off. But this tape did not. It held the bandages in place but also came off without damaging my skin further. I highly recommend it.

Needed a lot of Jed tape that wouldn't stick too much to my skin when keeping a mallet finger splinted for MONTHS...argh.This tape is nice and soft, but doesn't stay stuck after one hand washing. Not the best for my work schedule, to have to stop and retape every time I had to wash my hands.Probably fine for other uses

The tape stays in place even after showers, and is both strong and pliable. Only down side is that you must have scissors to cut it, but that's a minor issue.
