Great prenatal and all around multivitamin! No nausea
The media could not be loaded. Capsules are easy to swallow and digest well. I did not experience any nausea due to the zinc and iron, which is something I have experienced from other multivitamins. Felt great and continued taking after pregnancy.

Best prenatal
Best prenatal my wife has taken thus far. the raw and natural form is great. She was on other prenatals for the last 2 years but weren't helping boost as needed. 30 days after starting we got pregnant for the first time. Was this the primary reason no, but it certainly played a part in the boost. Now this is the only prenatal she will take during the pregnancy.

Happy Mama, Happy Babies Recommend Vitamin Code Prenatal Vitamins
I came here to check one of the ingredients on this prenatal vitamin, which I have used for both of my pregnancies, and I noticed a small string of negative reviews. So, I wanted to add my two cents, even though I usually tend to shy away from reviews. So far as I can tell, these prenatal vitamins have worked really well for both of my pregnancies. Our son is happy, healthy, and bright, and we had an uneventful pregnancy and labor and delivery. Our baby-on-the-way is developing well and is active in the womb.I also want to note that with my first pregnancy, sometime in my first trimester, I ran out of these vitamins and switched to Garden of Life for about a week or so. During that week, I started having painful cramps that were like nothing I have experienced before in my life, and I was genuinely terrified that I might be miscarrying. I told my husband about my symptoms, and he asked if I had changed anything in my routine. I said no at first, but then I remembered the prenatal vitamins. I switched back to Vitamin Code immediately, and within a day I was back to my happy, cramp-free self; from there, I went on to have a healthy pregnancy. So, just a word of caution that it really can make a difference which prenatal vitamins you choose.A few other thoughts: I think the taste of these vitamins are mild, and they're not too difficult to swallow. They do tend to float a little in the water when I take them, so I just take my time and try to relax. For those who are worried about Nestle owning the company now (I haven't verified this, but I will take others' claims at face value), I can say that I notice no difference between when I took these in 2015/2016 and now in 2021/2022. They seem just as high quality as they always were. The only other thing I'll note is that it's good to take an additional calcium supplement with these, especially if you avoid dairy.I hope this review helps and reassures anyone who might be on the fence. These are really excellent prenatal vitamins, tried and true for me, and I am glad to recommend them.

Excellent Vitamin
I am not pregnant however I am pre-menopausal, anemic, over-worked woman and these vitamins help me get thru my 12 hour daily work week. I suggested them to my daughter while she was carrying and she stayed on them. They did not make her sick. They are a decent size to swallow. Only filler is gum Arabic. I highly suggest as being pregnant or like me when you neglect proper food intake do to work. Definitely packed with the essentials. I struggle to find these anywhere but Amazon.

Great Prenatals- but you will need to add other supplements!
Great Organic/Non GMO Prenatals- but you will need to add other supplements!Pros: This is a great product and one of the only food based, organic, non-GMO prenatals I could find. Food based is vital for baby!Cons: They do have a slightly strange flavor (just while you are swallowing them) so I usually try to take them with juice and not water to avoid noticing it.Note: These prenatals are good but are not 100% complete for many moms. They lack many nutrients you need to grow a healthy baby. I did a ton of research on nutrients needed for optimal fetal development and this is what I came up with. (Note: I am healthy woman with no preexisting medical conditions- each mom is different and you should talk with your doctor/ midwife to decide what is best for you).Vitamins recommended in pregnancy (upper limits): -- how much is in the Garden of Life prenatals:Calcium: 1000mg (<2500) – 125mgCholine: 450mg (<3500) -- 0DHA: 300mg --0Folate (better than synthetic Folic acid): 600mcg – 800mcgIodine: 250 (<1100mcg) – 150mcgIron: 27mg (<45mg) – 18mgPotassium: 4700mg --0Riboflavin: 1.4mg –1.7mgB6: 1.9mg –2mgB12: 2.6mcg –6mcgC: 85mg (<2000mg) –60 mgD: 600IU (<4000) –1,400IUZinc: 11mg (<40mg) – 7.5mgBiotin: 30mcg –300mcgMagnesium 360mg –38mgBased on this information, I still needed the minimum of the following nutrients each day:Calcium: 875mgCholine: 450mgDHA: 300mgIodine: 100mcgIron: 9mgPotassium: 4700mgC: 25mgZinc: 3.5mgMagnesium 322mgNote: You get some of this with a healthy diet, but I wanted to ensure I was getting all of it daily for me and my developing baby. So I also take the following supplements each day with this prenatal:1. New Chapter Whole Mega Alaskan Salmon Oil (wild caught) for my DHA (220mg) https://smile.amazon.com/New-Chapter-Wholemega-Supplement-Astaxanthin/dp/B002FU6I9K/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1474225642&sr=8-1&keywords=new+chapter+salmon+oil2. Garden of Life Healthy Blood (food based) for Iron: 28mg (note this is more iron than you need when coupled with this prenatal but when you are making 4-5 pounds of extra blood many women need it - this is different for each woman and you should get your iron tested) https://smile.amazon.com/Garden-Life-Vitamin-Code%C2%AE-Capsules/dp/B0098U0QWA/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1474225734&sr=8-1&keywords=garden%2Bof%2Blife%2Bhealthy%2Bblood&th=1After all these supplements, I am still short:DHA: 80mgCalcium: 119mgPotassium: 4700mgZinc: 3.5mgI do get most of this in my healthy diet each day, but just to be safe (and ensure I grow the best baby I possibly can) I also take the following “nonessential” but beneficial supplements each day:6. Garden of Life raw B-Complex (food based) for extra B vitamins (these give you energy so best to take in the am and you pee out what you don’t need) https://smile.amazon.com/Garden-Life-Vitamin-Complex-Capsules/dp/B0098U0SQO/ref=sr_1_2_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1474226074&sr=8-2&keywords=garden+of+life+b+complex7. World Organics Ultra Concentrated Liquid Chlorophyll: to give me extra green nutrients, also it has been linked to decreasing blood loss during labor: https://smile.amazon.com/Ultra-Concentrated-Liquid-Chlorophyll-Ounces/dp/B008MOOS2W/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1474226366&sr=8-1&keywords=ultra+concentrated+liquid+chlorophyllNote: I don’t work for any of these companies and am not getting anything for this review. I am just an expecting mom that did A LOT of research of prenatals and nutrients needed for optimal development and wanted to share what I learned. Please talk with your doctor/ midwife to determine what is best for you. Hopefully I can help another expecting mom and you will find this information useful! Best of luck with your pregnancy : )
