Montessori Cursive Moveable Alphabets with Box

Got this movable alphabet for my own 2 kids. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, the box is sturdy enough and the quality of the paint and letters are good. I do wished that it would connect certain letters better so that the word forming would be more visible (some letters begin too low or end to high to really connect to another letter when making words), but that's a minor issue.About 3 of the dots on the "i" and "j" aren't fully covered in paint, but again, minor issue easily resolved.I don't think I would purchase this if it were for classroom use though, as I'm not sure the paint and the box are durable enough for fulltime daily use by many kids for a longer period of time. But for at home use, I am satisfied with the product.

I was worried about purchasing this at first because it was cheap for this product. I am so impressed by this product, it is very well made, the letters are well formed and the box is beautiful!

High quality, multiple letters, excellent size, and wood box comes with a sturdy top we use to place the letters on.. I just wish the letters edges would line up more like a puzzle to form words.

The Montessori Moveable Alphabet set is presented in a spacious box, featuring distinct colors for vowels and consonants, in accordance with the original Montessori method. The dimensions of each letter are appropriately proportioned. However, it is worth noting that with minimal use, signs of paint wearing off along the edges have been observed.

This is a great teaching tool for the Montessori classroom. Very durable.

Great for the kids to learn writing and sounds. It needs the ñ.

This may not matter to some people, but for the detail- oriented, it’s annoying. Letters a, f, m, u, w, and x are a slightly bigger font than the others. Why? So when you line up letters as an example of how to write a word properly, some letters may not line up height wise. For basic phonics it’s working great, but I don’t think I’ll be letting my son use these to help with writing practice - I’ll keep them separate.Excellent quality, just expect perfection at this price!

If you lose any letters or need more you're out of luck! This company sells additional print letters, but not cursive! Which is such a drag because this set is so nice! In a busy classroom 5 of each letter doesn't allow the child to make very many words or sentences. We were so sad to find out about this. :(
