Can this game be played with only 2 players

Yes and by the time you finish the game you will see 4 people.

How many players is this game for?

The game can be played with 3 - 12 players. There are 6 six pack game pieces. When you have more than six players, you may have 2 players per team allowing up to 12 players. When competing for bottles, all four players will compete. Remember to trade-off turns so everyone competes.

Is the board "water proof" or "water resistant" yet?

Yes the game and all game pieces are "water resistant" and as long as you wipe off any spills when they happen, the board will not be damaged. The game is laminated and to date, there has only been one replacement board sent out. If there is any water damage, we replace the damaged pieces free of charge... Hope that help & cheers!
