Poor quality for the price
Hardware looked sufficient but the plastic roller seems flimsy and was bowed.Might still work, but at $90 I'm not willing to accept it or take a chance on it.I'll keep looking.

Cant use with load stops.
Its a good idea but a bad design. The roller itself is plastic and warps in the california sun. The mounting for this makes it impossible to use the load locks for the rack. Since they both share the same channel for mounting, you wont beable to adjust the load stops without taking things apart. I tried flipping the mount and atatching to the bottome channel. This did free up the top for the load stops but when i did a test run the lumber doesnt set flush with the rack. Good idea but i guess i bought this just so i can reingineer it for yakima.

Easy install and use
I use this on my tacoma and it works great for my 120 lbs kayak. I only wish it had a stop on the left and right side for my kayak to stay centered while loading and un loading.

Does the job.
The hangers are a little flimsy.Roller held in with a cotter pin.

Made of plastic that deforms in sunlight.
I'm a bit surprised by Yakima's disregard for quality and product dependability. Three days after i installed the ladder roller on my Yakima crossbar, it sagged and became out of round. Perhaps on a lesser scale of importance is the fact that the actual mounting of the roller differs from the instructions: the left and right brackets must be reversed making the insertion of the cotter pins almost impossible. Yakima makes a good product in their bed rack components--uprights and crossbars. Why sacrifice that reputation with junk: a plastic roller designed to carry the weight of heavy lumber or ladders?????

Cheaply made
Made out of flimsy plastic. If the roller is outside it will bend when used even when item is well below weight limit. Save your money.
