I never leave reviews, but honestly this product is absolutely brilliant.I’ve got a Pug who will try and swallow dental sticks or pizzles when when they get small enough. I had to stop giving him them due to the choking risk. This product is an absolute revelation!!!! It’s got a brilliant rubber grip to hold the treat tight in place, he’s not dragging it all round the carpet, and most importantly - he can’t get to that end bit.I’ll continue to supervise him when he uses it, but if you’ve got a swallower- you need to get one of these !!

Someone has really thought about the design of this product and despite some of the negative reviews it certainly works for my dogs. I have two show cockers spaniels and gave them a thick pizzle stick each to combat the plaque build up. Before I had a chance to remove the stick when it had been chewed down to a couple of inches in length, one dog managed to swallow the remaining stick which was still quite long. To stop this happening again, I bought 2 small Pawplexers which were small enough to have a vice like grip of thick pizzle sticks holding them securely. Both dogs chewed away safely, could not remove the sticks from the central grip and left the final 2 inches which were still secured in the centre. Great product, do your homework and buy the size according to the treat, chew you wish to hold safely. I have not yet marked longevity as I have only just used this product.

Does not hold a pizzle stick. I used quite a thick one and within a couple of minutes, my dog pulled it out.So not fit for purpose.

Really handy , my puppy really loves pizzle sticks and other chews when they are in this nifty holder as he can easily hold and access the chews and he enjoys the puzzle aspect too

I ordered the small one for my “Crocodile” Pug/Chi/Dachshund mix because he can gnaw through a bully stick in a matter of hours and then he quickly swallows the end when he knows I’m going to take it away. He can’t get the sticks out of this toy; they are really held in there tight. It’s a huge relief to know he is safe from any issues from swallowing the ends now. This is a well thought out item and it works as advertised. Highly recommend!!UPDATE: My Crocodile can get the bully sticks out. I still recommend it though, as my dog has a special skill of figuring everything out that I use to keep him safe. Lol

We have been using it for months and our 6-month old labradoodle can chew her bones safely :)So far only once she removed the bone from the holder but we were supervising her and we just put it back. Otherwise we highly recommended it. It’s strong and can hold very good. Thanks

Mein Chihuahua schafft es mit Leichtigkeit seine Knabberstange raus zu ziehen und sie ohne Halterung weiter zu fressen. Der Kauf war für mich für umsonst.

Decent product overall. But once the dog gets chewing and the bully stick gets slobbery, it's only a matter of time before they can easily pull it out.It's doesn't fit all sizes of bully sticks and some are very hard to get into the holder. To top it off the rubber ring that holds the stick in place has pulled out.We've had it a couple of months and will be replacing it with something else.
