I bought this as a replacement of the original brick that came with my 10 year old g75vx laptop. Was concerned that the input current reading (2.34 A) did not exactly match that of the original brick (2.5 A). It turned out not to be a problem.The new brick has been working very well. I cannot say it is running too hot. We'll see how long it lasts, but I have been very happy with my purchase... so far. I hope to get a few years out of it, and am considering buying a back-up. There's nothing worse than to have a well-functioning laptop that you cannot use due to a bad brick.

This charger is an excellent replacement for my son's ASUS ROG Strix SCAR Edition Gaming Laptop I bought for him back in 2019 for college. The ASUS brand replacement charger was $189.00. This works just as well and is a mere fraction of the cost of the ASUS brand. I'm sure if something happened to the laptop ASUS would plead a "warranty" issue...but the laptop is still working great and is from 2019 so I'm happy to have this replacement for the age of the laptop. Great find!

I didn't hesitate to get this AWESOME power pack for my Republic of Gamers ORIGINAL Power pack!🤬 Microcenter wanted 🤯 $119 something for a GENERIC UNIVERSALpower source so, I ordered this one and NEVER L👀K'D Back @ 😜Microcenter🤑 !

This worked great for about a year. One day my daughter plugged it into the outlet. It shorted and exploded in her hand. She was very scared and mildly injured (not enough to go to hospital). Smoke filled the room and the wire was very hot.

I looked up every option out there to replace the power adapter on my Asus G75VW laptop. I couldn't find a manufacturer produced one anymore so I had to look to aftermarket. After reading through horror stories on other adapters I eventually settled on this one.From what I understand, many products made in china are often rebrands of the same product at a much lower rate. Just look to ikea batteries being the same as the eneloop pro batteries if you want to know more about it. Seeing as this one is the same form factor as the newer version of the Asus official power adapters, I thought it might actually be the exact same one.Either way, I've had this adapter for about 3 months and haven't had any problems so far. The adapter gets warm like any power adapter does, but it never gets insanely hot like some of them do.If you are like I was and have been waffling between different adapters, just stop and get this one.If I have any problems with it down the line I will update my review.

Losing the original power adapter for my laptop was terrible.This was a good replacement albeit pretty expensive on my opinion.It does the job.
