Shipping cost. It costs me 11.80 to ship to California from NJ. Plus 4.99 is 3 times higher. USPS just raised the prices 10 to 20 percent or more for shipping.

I don't know if this is the largest. I did not have problems with overflow but I always left some room at the top when filling it with my soup. Overall heated contents quite nicely.

Depending on how hot you heat the contents the handle will get warm closest to the cup. I've been able to handle it fine when I heat things in it.
