Old Stock?
I've been using this particular item for years. The one I received from this vendor was substandard. It arrived with lots of particles stuck to the sides of the roll. Worse however, the adhesive was lacking or old and dried as this roll does not stick as all the rolls I've had in the past. Perhaps it is old stock.

White Tape
Was not quite what I was expecting. I was looking for a tape w/ a flat finish so that I can write on it. Because of the slick finish, I will probably have to use a Sharpie.

Not a true plain paper tape : you can hardly write with a pencil on it!
I purchased this one to tag various boxes and vinyl pouches to show what are inside.And it seems that this tape has slightly vinyl-like surface that the ordinary pencil lead hardly writes on it. With a oily marker, you may be able to write more easily. I hoped that I could write, erase and re-write on its surface with a pencil but it seems that it may not suitable for that purpose. It seems that you can write with a marker on it quite easily and you can remove the tape, re-tape and re-write anyway. And it seems that it is water-proof which we could not expect for a true paper tape. It sticks strongly to a vinyl pouch or zip-lock pouches and you don't have to concern about detachment. Thanks!
