WinsomeWood Alps Tall Cabinet with Glass Door and Drawer

I purchased these because I needed something I can use for media cabinets, something tall and slim with doors. I found these on sale and jumped on it. And after everything I went thru.. I like these cabinets, and here we go... A bunch of the reviews said a few thing I later found out to be true like the drawer face fell off on both cabinets so I hot glued them back on. Both cabinets came in damaged but I don't blame the company for that, I blame the shippers cause they're not exactly careful with anything large (hint hint to the company.. use a different shipper plz). I took pics of some of the damage as you can see i had to glue some parts back together and (not pictured) the rest are cosmetic (scratches) from the parts being shifted around during transport, easy fix with a permanent marker or crayon. I do have to disagree with the confusing directions as I found them to be spot on with the assembly instructions. Very simple. The sturdiness of these cabinets are very good, no wobbly feet or joints as these are a two peice cabinet basically top and bottom and I can pick them up and move them with no worries. The hinges on the doors are very easy to install and are adjustable up down and in out so I could easily get them to level. Luckily ALL parts were accounted for nothing missing! Overall I have to give this a 5 star for the basic overviews of the cabinets.Since I can't rate the shippers on here who were not careful with handling, passing the packages around like hot potatoes, I won't blame the company for damagesOh and the top shelf over the tv in the pics are not included with the cabinets, I built that with parts I bought from another store.

This is an excellent price for this cabinet. Arrived quickly, very well packaged. All the hardware and parts were complete and there wasn't any damage to the cabinet. Beautiful finish on all parts. One of the hardware pieces didn't have the finished machining for the screwdriver head. They did include a package of extra hardware which had included some of these. Excellent thinking on manufactures part. It took me about two hours to assemble by myself, I'm 69 yrs. old, instructions were very clear. I would recommend, lay all the parts out first, then completely read thru instructions before you begin. This will save you time in the long run, you'll have an idea of how the parts fit together before you begin.The cabinet is beautiful, the doors fit well and the hinges have three ways you can adjust, I didn't need to the doors were centered opened and closed well. The drawer also went together well and fit nicely, operates easily and it has a stop so you won't accidently pull too far out.Wish I had a need for another one, the project was fun.

Exactly what I needed and wanted. Got a new freezer in utility room. Had a much larger version of this that was removed for freezer space. Still needed something for items tucked away in old cabinet. This fit perfect! Took one star away because price was about $70 over local sources but since I needed quickly and Amazon had it and it was sold out everywhere , I went ahead and splurged. Assembly instructions easy to read. Took about an hour to assemble. Solid construction. Delivery was super quick and professional by an Amazon contracted service out of Houston area. You could even track truck route from shipped notification email. Was able to leave detailed instructions on delivery to our rural address. Perfect.

A bit of a rocky start as the first one received came damaged. The replacement one was just fine, im glad the seller corrected the situation. Once pieced together its a quality piece of furniture. A bit time consuming to assemble but the instructions are clear and the hardware is marked visibly. Just the right size and looks great. I added a few puck lights and used it as a display case for camera gear.

This cabinet looks very good as you can see in the pictures. It does not look cheap. I do agree that the instructions are not easy to follow but all the parts have a small sticker with a letter on it so you know which parts they are talking about. And all of the screws are in plastic bags and they have letters on them also. The only way the holes don't line up if you have the wrong parts and didn't pay attention to which letter is on the part. It's not easy to assemble but with some thought it can be assembled correctly. I included pictures for you to decide if it looks cheap or not. But it is extremely good value for the money. It could use a little more storage space but then again it would have to be a lot taller and wider so this fits my needs just fine. If you listen to the negative reviews you will be missing out on a great buy And a very nice cabinet.

I purchased this cabinet to fill a space next to my fridge. It went together easy, is nice looking and I especially like the choice of solid and glass doors for storage. Two issues I had are both with the shelves. They are too thin making them less sturdy and I wish they had four shelves instead of two. I plan to use the open center space as a wine rack so I'll add my own additional shelf there.
