Amazing and high quality vinyl
This is arguably one of the best vinyl wraps I've ever used. The color is bright and glossy with minimal orange peel texture on properly prepped surfaces. At the price point, it's one of my favorite metallic looks. I used some to finish wrapping a Nissan with K23 paint code, and this vinyl is very close to that factory color. It isn't an exact match, but when doing the whole car, you'd be pressed to tell the difference. What's funny is the finish on this gloss is actually BETTER than the stock Nissan paint, which isn't saying much given how bad their finishing work can be, but I am very happy with how this project turned out.The vinyl also has excellent adhesion. I used some to wrap part of a Power Wheels Jeep, which has surfaces notorious for not wanting paint, vinyl, stickers, etc to stay stuck. This stuff clung on tight with no signs of releasing when not desired, and I did not even need adhesion promoter. My favorite feature on this vinyl is the elasticity. As other reviews have mentioned, I barely needed any heat at all to conform this vinyl to tight curves, round edges, or multi-directional stretches. It stretches better than most vinyl's I've used before, and also keeps it's color rather than washing out or whitening like some material when stretched. It also shrinks back up and "heals" very well, and was forgiving when areas needed to be removed and reseated without losing adhesive properties. 10/10 this will be my go-to flavor and brand of wrap. 3M has always been good, but the 1080 just does not miss! Even Chrome 1080, which chrome is notoriously hard to work with as it shows every little imperfection, is one of the easiest wraps to apply in my experience. I highly recommend this stuff!

Quality Vinyl!
Great vinyl. It's easy to use and looks great. Nice and glossy, with just the right amount of metallic. It cuts great in a Silhouette Cameo vinyl cutter, using 3M knifeless finishing tape, or by hand with a fresh xacto blade. It's stretches just a little too easy compared to some of the other vinyl I was using, but you will get used to it quickly. The air channels/grooves on the adhesive side work well and you cannot see any texture on the finished side as a result. It conforms well without heat, but heat does help when working in stubborn tight areas. Be very careful with the heat, hardly any is needed. If you use too much you'll be balling it up and throwing it away. Keep in mind that I was using very small pieces compared to your typical auto install. I used this on my newest RC turbine jet. I'm very happy with the results.

Matches Silver Ingot for Ford Very Closely
Product is easy to work with. It does help that I do wallpaper for a living. Used this to match silver ingot for my f150 raptor fenders. Matches a good 90% and replicated the metallic shine. Great product and I’ll definitely buy more when I do my bumpers etc

Matches Closely to Ford Ingot Silver (UX)
The media could not be loaded. I’m a DIY’er, and I found this vinyl to be pleasant to work with. I had gotten tired of the look of my full carbon hood and decided colors would add character and complement the curves without causing permanent damage to the hood’s finish. I decided to try this silver vinyl and blue pinstripe. I initially found the vinyl to be far lighter than ingot silver. I installed it Friday night. By Sunday afternoon, the color appeared to had gotten darker and more closely resembles the factory paint color. It’s not a perfect match, but it’s close enough for me.

Not Gloss White Aluminum
I use this for graphics on motorcycle fairings. I have some 3M 1080 G120 Gloss White Aluminum I bought using a swatch at a retailer and this material will not match. It is non returnable so I am out $15.99 plus the extra days to go get the right stuff.

The 3M 1080 vinyl is very good and easy to apply after watching a few you tube videos. The only negative about the product was that it is less than 12 inches across as advertised. It is about 11 13/16 inches. It messed up my planning a little bit and I have to reconfigure my plan. Thus, one star deduction.

Looks great, works great, etc.
I wrapped an Acura TSX fender with this and sold the car without the buyer asking any questions. You can sorta tell the color is off, but it isn't that bad. It looks better on the mirror than the fender. For anyone looking to wrap rather than paint to match their body, this wrap is a great idea. At the very least, buy a sample to compare. I don't have any regrets. The material is also very forgiving and I only ripped it once from my rushed carelessness. From what I've seen, this is professional-grade stuff.

A true metallic high gloss silver wrap
If you are looking for a metallic silver that has depth to it and a high gloss finish, this is the wrap to get. The trim on my 64 Bel Air spent 40 years of its life in Phoenix and sand over the years etched the aluminum trim. I opted to try wrap over actual paint to see if it was an option to go with for a different look and also to protect it from the car overall from weather while I complete bodywork in stages. This wrap is thick and doesn't highlight little pits like the blue in the background so it doesn't have to be completely perfect. One tip I do have is to pull the liner off a section at a time and heat it with the heat gun just enough to release the wrinkles so it is smooth and let it cool a couple of seconds before letting the tension go. This preps the wrap so it goes right over the part smooth. I recently started using another trick seen by a pro using a small spray bottle with soapy water. Spraying the top surface lets the squeegee glide over the surface smoothing it out. Once you get the hang of how this wrap works, it can wrap just about anything. The mailbox was given an update after the paint faded from being about 3 years old. Mostly scrap leftover wrap put to use. The silver was the cure for highlighting the numbers being difficult to see at night. 3M quality is worth a bit more when buying wrap.
