Healthy, Robust, Happy Plants!
Hirt's Gardens has a great reputation, but I still went into this purchase with pretty low expectations. I purchased seven varieties, 9 plants total. Shipping was a bit expensive, but Hirt's took so much care in packaging that it easily justified the cost. My plants barely seemed phased by the shipping process and one hour after arriving home are happily spreading out on a sunny windowsill.Every single plant I received was vibrant, healthy, undamaged, and SO MUCH LARGER than I expected. I purchased the small sizes figuring I'd be getting some rooted cuttings with a few leaves in a pot, but what I received were full, well-established, bushy plants with tons of new growth. Zero signs of pest or disease. I will definitely be purchasing from this seller again.I spent entirely too long agonizing over this purchase so I'll copypasta this review on all the plants I purchased to save other over-researchers the hassle. Totally worth!

Easy to grow
Received these two plants healthy and happy. They took a while before doing much but they're definitely growing beautifully now. Give them some light and a little water and they're happy. So am I.

Don’t Hesitate BUY THESE, So Worth It!
Item: 2 Heart Leaf PhilodendronsSeller: Hirts Garden’s StoreOrdered: 06/25, Recv’d:06/30/2021, 5 days to LA, USA - FAST!Packaging: Very Well PackedPlants arrived wrapped in brown mailing paper with plastic surrounding pot to retain the soil, and plants secured at opposite sides of the box.One plant is more significantly prolific/bushier with leaves than the other, but both plants are Gorgeous, Alive, Pretty, and one has signs of new growth. These were obviously well cared for and both are healthy, without any signs of bugs nor issues. Leaves are all green and healthy.I highly recommend this item (2 Heart Leaf Philodendrons). The plants are lovely and worth it. And from all of my research, Philodendrons are a plant variety that grow fast and is very prolific.Update 08/18/2021: Still Growing, has taken me a little while to find the right Sun+Grow Light+Water+Fertilizer combination to promote the growth of these plants. The latest photo shows it only starting to grow, but it is nice and lush and doing well..

Nice!
Arrived extremely dry - bone dry... Seller did nothing at all to keep the moisture in the pots, so plants were "tired looking". Few days later, after being watered, they perked up! I am happy with them; they are a perfect size as starter plants and ( once watered ) look very nice :)

Still going strong about 10 months later
Philodendrons are known as one of the easiest house plants to grow; that's why I chose this deal, because I wanted to gift my neighbor a plant for a kindness she did for me, and the bonus of getting one of these cuties for myself too --- was just too hard to resist. Now, coming up on a year later, I wanted to jump on here and give an update on my experience of ordering a house plant on line and to give an update on how my heart leaf phil is getting on.So, I had never ordered a plant on line, and was a little dubious about the process. Wouldn't you know, I just so happened to be the one who's order got held up on its journey across the country. When the plants arrived they had been packaged and without water for nearly two weeks (through snow, sleet and bitter cold weather). I was sure I'd open the package to see two little brown, wilted twigs, but they were both alive, though peaked. It is a testimony to the care the nursery put in to taking care of and shipping my little babies that they survived at all, and they were doing fairly well.I gave the plants a day to rest and then repotted and watered them. I fed them several days later, making sure their transition was slow and gentle, to avoid putting them into complete shock. Now all these months later, as you can see from my pics, my plant seems to be very happy. The plant has begun taking off, putting out new growth and starting to vine.I feed most of my house plants Shoultz green liguid plant food; usually just a couple drops every time I water. I also use the first nuckle meathod to determine if the plants are ready for water/food.This was a great buy!

Total ripoff - Buyer beware
I ordered these same 2 plants a few years ago when the site was owned by Hirts and the items were sold and shipped by Hirts. I thought it would be the same this time. I was sadly mistaken. It is now owned and shipped from the Waterspout. The 2 plants I received are in little containers that are 3 inches high but 2 inches wide crammed into a little 6 inch box. Each one had one small vine with a few leaves on it with a second dying vine in each container. They look nothing like what I received before and nothing like the picture shown by the seller. The picture is very deceptive. These same size plants are selling locally for $3.99 and I just paid $24.99 for what I would have paid $8 locally because I thought I was going to get nice big plants like I did before. Total ripoff. I do NOT recommend this now that it is not coming from Hirts. I will order straight from Hirts website in the future. This seller is basically a middleman who cuts down the size of the plants you would get from Hirts and gives you one or two little pieces of a whole plant and charges 3 times for it. Buyer beware.
