The Best Duvet Ever!
I had been looking for a new duvet for some time. My not very old all-seasons duvet was a "like Down" style, which seems to be the norm these days. It means the stuffing clumps at the edges of the pockets and the duvet has to be shaken regularly to even it out. I was finding this a bit of a chore and too much for me these days. I was impressed by the Simba claims that the "printed" side of the cotton cover draws away excess heat and keeps you at an even, comfortable temperature, something I really need as I get terrible night flushes and am constantly throwing the duvet off and pulling it back on. I couldn't remember the last time I had a really good night's sleep. The price rather put me off though. After all, it is a lot of money to invest in a product only to find it is not as good as it claims to be. When a special offer arrived in an Amazon email with a significant reduction on the all-seasons version, I decided to go for it. That was the best decision I have made in years! The duvet arrived by courier a couple of days later and I immediately put the autumn weight into a duvet cover on the bed. The two separate duvets have different coloured piping and the special printed side to draw off heat is obvious by touch and sight. They both fit into a lovely waterproof, dustproof zipped bag which I can fit under the bed for easy storage. The duvets are not at all bulky but look very flat, which is different to any duvet I've ever had, but they are extremely lightweight. They almost feel like a light blanket and I find it makes them much easier to get into a cover and they stay in place. The first night, which was a very cold one, was a revelation. The duvet kept me the perfect temperature all night and I didn't have a single hot flush. I had the best night's sleep in years. I was amazed! The claims are all true! The Autumn weight was plenty warm enough even in the cold snap. Now the weather is not as cold, I have gone over to the Spring weight as I was getting a bit too warm and even though it is still Winter it is plenty warm enough. There is so little weight I hardly notice it at all. My husband, who feels the cold more than I do and likes to sleep warmer, also finds the duvet plenty warm enough. It is simply brilliant. I wish I had discovered Simba years ago! I am also very glad I opted for the all-seasons duvets as they offer complete flexibility. I cannot recommend this fabulous duvet highly enough. It is certainly well worth the money to get such a comfortable sleeping experience. I love it!

Incredibly comfortable duvet
Decided to purchase a new duvet and did some research beforehand. Took the plunge and went for this. Double of price I would usually pay but the quality is I believe worth it. Not thick or thin, very comfortable. 2 sides, one for colder weather and the other for summer. So far only used warm side, perfect.

Fantastic, Crisp & Warm
Before I purchased a read the limited reviews for this and they were confusing as some stating that their duvet was perfect for summer.... Nonetheless I decided those reviews were meant to be on the 4.5Tog option and not this - the 13.5 Tog duvet. We were looking for a replacement for our old synthetic 13.5T double duvet and having recently bought the Simba Duck Feather & Down pillows (which are very very nice and hands down beat our old pillows), we looked into this duvet and checked comparisons with synthetic. On delivery it came in a small square box and the mattress was vacuum packed inside it - a neat little package. We opened it up and it had no smell or anything so we got it in the bedding straight away. We found it was slightly lighter than our previous synthetic mattress which was a plus. This is a 5* Duvet and we have no issues with it at all and we will likely not go back to synthetic again!

Very cosy.
I love this duvet.I had originally bought a wool filled duvet, but found it took ages to get warm inside it - I sent it back.So I thought I'd try the Simba Hybrid after my friend recommended it.My main reason for buying was that I tend to get too hot in bed even during winter months. This duvet is so comfortable. As soon as you get underneath it feels cosy.I don't get too warm during the night (only used in winter so far), I just remain nice and warm and snug. The downside is that I don't want to get out of bed in the morning as I'm so comfortable. On the negative side I think the price is very high for a (good) duvet.Despite the high price I would say this is definitely the best duvet that I've ever had.

Find the blue ribbon!
We have been sheltering under our brand new Simba duvet for two weeks now and we are delighted with it. On first acquaintance it seemed quite thin, but we were used to a feather and down duvet which had been very well filled. The Simba is like sleeping under a lovely cloud - it wraps itself comfortably around you and doesn’t feel heavy or restricting. It also fits the double size cover perfectly, which I love as I can’t sleep if the cover is creased up! My husband thinks I’m mad........ One thing we needed to ask after purchase was which way round it goes. Our question was quickly and helpfully answered by other customers and by Simba themselves - look for the blue edging ribbon and that’s the side you sleep under! Our cat is also very happy with it and spends her days asleep on top of it 😻.

Not an all year round duvet.
I purchased the Sumba hybrid all year round duvet because I get quite hot at night and need a warm duvet, but wanted something cooler and less heavy than my 10.5 tog feather duvet. Whilst the Simba hybrid all year duvet does feel less heavy, I still find myself waking up sweaty during the night. I’m still debating whether to return the duvet as it’s very expensive and it may be worth trying out another type of duvet. I definitely don’t see it as a ‘wonder’ scientific all year round solution. It would be much too hot in the UK summer months.
