Purina ONE Plus Healthy Weight High-Protein Dog Food Dry Formula - 40 lb. Bag

Wonderful dog food. All my dog will eat. He especially enjoys the soft nuggets! This size bag lasts me a little over a moth.

I start purchasing these dog food because my older pug was a little bit overweight. After a while our start feeding it to all my dogs. They all seem to like it, and it doesn’t seem to have as much fat contents as all the brands sometimes it’s hard to find and it is a little bit more expensive than your basic basic dry dog food, but I think it gives you very good balance between quality and price. Give her a try if your dogs like chicken they would love.

All my dogs have lived long and healthy lives using Purina one plus dog food, even after eating it day after day they never seem to get bored with it and usually eat every last kernel, I tried most the fancier brands, but I always end up going back to Purina one, maybe it's a trust thing good quality control and a consistent product time after time, I usually add some real chicken in as a topping which the dogs seem to like.They could improve the print / best by date on the bag as it's hard to read and rubs off easily, for the larger bags like the 40lb it's important to know that date, it would be nice if they could make the bag resealable as-well.

Our dog, who is half Anatolian Shepherd and (yes this is correct) half Beagle, fully enjoys this food.We have never experienced any quality issues at all. We are, however, very careful as to how we handle the foodonce it is opened. We purchased and large, sealable plastic container that has a removable top. Once the bag opened, the full bag goes into the container and is sealed and then we fill a gallon jug with her food to keep in kitchen and refill it as needed from the storage container where is kept free of moisture, humidity and / or any crawling intruders.We don't add anything to her food other than an occasional piece of human grade, freeze dried chicken from Whole Life. She saw the vet yesterday. 11 years old, and in great shape! Teeth, bones, joints etc. So, I trust this food completely.

I bought a really expensive dog food and one of my dogs wouldn't eat it. I tried this, and now I have ordered it 3 different times. It is high protein but also maintains healthy weight. They always eagerly wait for me to fill their bowls.

The dog gained weight after he was neutered, so we switched to this weight control formula. He likes it and eats it. He's only lost a few pounds but at least he's not gaining any more.
