Kleinert's Sew-In Dress Shields Underarm Sweat Pads - Sweat & Odor Protection, Discreet Moisture Barrier, Washable

This was one of those products that I didn't realize I needed until it was an emergency! I had found the PERFECT dress for a Christmas party but I was very concerned because it was red, a color you can easily see sweat on, and 100% polyester, and when my sweat and polyester mix it is a bad situation.So I start looking for a product I didn't know existed- armpit protectors! Most are thin, stiff, sticky pads that were definitely not going to help me with how much I sweat. I also didn't want a pad falling out of my dress during the party. When I came across these, sewing something into my dress wasn't ideal but I figured I could do it. However, when I received the product, they were actually large enough that I was just able to place them in my dress, not sewn or pinned in, and they stayed put all night. I had no sweat show through my dress and no odor at all because they are 100% cotton! After the night was over, I threw them in the wash and they're ready for another use with another outfit.A few notes- this worked great with my long, tight sleeves. It would also be great for 3/4 sleeves, but I'm not sure about short sleeves. They'd have to be longer than normal and you would have to sew or pin them in. Obviously for a tank top or very short sleeves, these won't work at all. I'm also not sure how you could hide the pins if you went with that option, you'd have to do it strategically, but it could work and would be worth the effort if it saves you from sweat stains and odor.

I wish there were a version with built in snaps or something. If I sew it to the dress, I have to take them out to wash and then re-sew them.

Great for even heavy stress sweating! These protected my leather jacket and didn't even smell afterwards. Ordering more for other winter coats!

Protects my blouses well. Safety pins keep them in place.

These dress shields are great for dry clean only clothes with linings, or for clothes meant to be worn in hot areas. I add snaps to four corners of the dress shield and sew them in the garment for easy removal.

Great product—We use them in costumes. However, I only received one in my last order and couldn’t figure out how to contact the seller.

They do a great job of controlling sweat!

Work well. I like them for blazers or thicker/more structured clothes.
