A great gamers keyboard
First impression are very good, looks and feels very nice. The build is very good, it has a bit of weight, making it a very stable keyboard, the keys are raised slightly, which makes them easy to press, ideal for gaming, the keyboard is noisy, you hear each key being pressed, I like that, reminded me a bit of my Amiga daysThe USB is study and the cable is good quality, no driver required worked straight away.Connecting to the PC gave us a second wow moment, light’s up like a Christmas tree. The keyboard has been designed for the gamer, keyboard has the durability and tactile, mechanical keyboard feeling, ideal for high-intensity gaming. You also have a headphone/Microphone socket on the keyboard, 3.5mm which is the small standard size, which again is great for gaming,This is a very impressive gamers keyboard, well made and does have that wow factor which really impressed me.Priced at under £86 which is well priced for the quality and what you get.A great gamers keyboard

Ideal for me, even though I am not a gamer. Well built, durable, lovely to use.
I really like this keyboard. I used to type in the days before word processors and pc’s and this keyboard gives a very definite response to every press, which I like. The keys are well separated and although I type quite quickly and sometimes on my previous keyboard occasionally some letters would be missed or transposed, that does not happen with this one. Also, my previous keyboard was not particularly durable. A lot of the letters had rubbed off the keys and although I knew where they were it was frustrating for anyone else who used it. I don’t think that will happen with this keyboard as it is built to withstand heavy use, it certainly feels well constructed and sturdy.I don’t like using a wrist rest so cannot comment on whether that works well or not but it’s a useful addition for those who prefer to use one. When I was looking into replacing my existing keyboard I went into a couple of shop to try out different types to see what suited me. None of the standard ones on display were what I needed. One sales person suggested I try a gaming keyboard as he explained they had a more defined response, which is what I wanted, and were built to withstand a lot of keystrokes, which again was important to me. I had not thought of looking at that type of keyboard, not being a gamer, but that was what motivated me to try this keyboard. It was brilliant advice as I am thoroughly delighted with it!I was surprised at how bright the lights were, they are not something I particularly wanted but I can see them appealing to gamers. Also, the microphone is not something I need, but i think it will be really useful for gamers.

not the holy grail.
If you are new to the experience of gaming PCs then a word of warning - try out the product in a shop or do the due diligence and read reviews in specific specialist gaming magazines/websites. Overall I think that this keyboard looks the business but I have my doubts that it will satisfy the gamer who this is is being targeted for. I found it a tad clunky and that's before even thinking about doing Macro's or similar. I do like it but I don't think this is the holy grail that others are looking for.

After 3 months , some of the keys , actually the numeric side
After 3 months , some of the keys , actually the numeric side which I don't using that often , it starts to not respond , I won't buy a crap like this again. I'm not the guy who to reviews, but it was soo disappointed cause I did this effort to help other to not fall for low price mechanical keyboard...Is a bad choise..and before this I had a Logitech ,so you can't compare Logitech with this crap toy from HP .

NOT A MECHANICAL KEYBOARD
This is false advertising and not a mechanical switch keyboard, it is a membrane keyboard hence the 'mushy' feel at the bottom of the key press. This is false advertising plain and simple, much better actual mechanical keyboards available for the price.

uncomfy and isnt even mechanical
the keyboard is borderline okay for gaming and has taken a battering, however what makes this completely unworthy of the money for me is the fact the keyboard isn't even mechanical, it uses membrane and non mechanical switches
